I just continued from my last save and it's so quick to end the game..

wow...a pirate gets what he pays for..nothing..that was the most disappointing 3-4 minutes in gaming history

Soooo rushed and spoiled the-end, soooo many opportunities missed...Simone is hot but she is not enough

it feels like GoT - a high expectations, justified with good story developing, and than abruptly - boom bam boom - this is the (very bad) end my friend
While it wasn't the ending I expected, it was close to what I wanted. A bit too abrupt but realistic. Thanks for something more normal without the unnecessary twist that only happen a fictional story. Wish for more, when you feel there is more story to tell.

Kinda disappointing ending, with "tons" of story elements that went nowhere it feels like an incomplete game that the Dev just wanted to be done with.
Dev says there are 5 unique endings with up to 13 variations of these.
So far I've gotten 5-maybe-6 of these 13 (I played the pre-hotfix version, with mixed up endings)
Many of the story elements that were introduced mostly weren't followed up on i.e. All the talk about bying a cabin, Mary' dad disappears from the story, MC finding an "old man" for Simone if you didn't romance her, Andi being not hostile-to hostile-to not hostile again and later moving in with them weren't explored, Mary and all her talk of wanting to be good at school and all that noise were glossed over, And also no wedding (doesn't really bother me, but could have been added all the same) and then the kinks that Mary wanted to explore like the BDSM thing (it's briefly mentioned with some text and a render that the Dominatrix comes back at some point to have fun with MC&Mary but is still unsatisfying).
Finally Marys teacher/dads mistress part were forgotten about I think? I didn't bother going back to check dialogue if it were resolved somehow.
All in all this feels like a rushed and incomplete VN with loads of potential for more updates or at the least some canon/non-canon spinoffs.
So to repeat myself, I feel disappointed that this is what we got compared to what we could have gotten.
I do however like the renders for what they are and really like the women in the game, especially Simone and Andi.
I look forward to what they have planned next and really look forward to play the demo.

Darn did they mess it up at the end or something?
i have had this in my backlog for almost a year waiting for more content and was excited about a finished product D:, hope i enjoy it more than you did!
Got to admit, between yourself and a couple of other people's recent posts (none of the children crying about not getting Andi), I'm honestly in two minds about downloading this update.
It's not often I see genuine disappointment about how a game/story ends being related to it feeling rushed, and after all the build up and progression, which I thought was really well done, I'm not sure if I should waste my time downloading for disappointment.
I think being able to play it all together, instead of the piece-by-piece nature of playing each update, it might feel a little less disappointing. Can't say for certain though, and this is based only on those expressing sincere disappointment over how rushed the ending seems to them.i have had this in my backlog for almost a year waiting for more content and was excited about a finished product D:, hope i enjoy it more than you did!

Is it just me or anybody else feel the same way, the end was very disappointing,doesn't matter what i do, I have a bad ending,no women,no pussy and all by myself.
but still it was a great Game and I enjoyed every minute of it,guess i`m hopelessly romantic.

just fyi, i've updated my unofficial android port of Life with Mary v1.0.
Damn..so many mixed feelings now..one for instance beeing that because of all ive read here in the thread now means that no matter how stupid it sounds i HAVE to download it and see it for myself.
Any of you guys have a meme to put out in my place in advance so i in a nearby future can express my disapointment..preferably something with a angry Cartman going "Tha Fuck!!??"

That was a huge kick in the balls to every patron of this game. Super disappointing to the point of disgraceful.
I see I'm not the only one who thought this ending was kind of abrupt the ending itself is not bad but it seemed like there was more to do in the game yet.
