This is more of a WIP than a bug. I haven't implemented dynamically getting current location's actors on screen for scenes yet so you get two copies of the same actor for now if a scene involving the actor triggers while the actor is already in the same room as you and original stats get saved again when you move location. This will be implemented in 3.0 Stable
On performance, note that each clothes and furniture asset only needs loading once per session (i.e. open LifePlay.exe) so the first 10-15 minutes of gameplay will perform less well than the rest. The performance improvement you've seen might not actually be from Central Bath (which should only affect FPS in map view, not really much impact on 3d location view), but from assets now loaded in memory,
Thanks for the reply Vinfamy, wasn't aware of the performance aspect. I did notice later on when I installed a larger custom map (Los Angeles), the games performance was on par with Central Bath (in map view, I didn't spend too much time with interiors, just a quick test run). I'll have to try out London again knowing this info. I plan on giving it a closer look later today.

Good game, appriciate your efforts. You are like a patron saint of taboo porn...lol

1 suggestion tho,....there should be more skin templates,....cause theres really only 1 skin, that you can change the color of,...BUT, they all have the same skin details.

Example-all women have the same moles, in same places on body. Same with men.

Kinda makes it hard to get into dating, cause its like the same person with diff shades of skin and diff fitness levels.
women have like 20 face texture options, there's a button under Skin for it

**This was too long and could be taken the bitter way, so I'll try to be short.

I'm sure next release will left this hybrid-looking (between old VN style and the new 3D overhaul) behind, and loading will clear any previous interaction.

Thanks again fo this game.

After updating and repairing my mods, over this coming week.
I will start working on finishing them off.
To help me decide which one to do first, I have put a poll on my mod page. If your interested in getting a specific one completed, please consider voting. I will then know which one is more popular, and get on with it!

Hello everyone, hello vinfamy. The game is improving a lot. Congratz!

A few suggestions/ideas:

- Variety of content -
It may have been asked already, but a variety of Tattoos, glasses, garter belt, high heels, new stockings, new predefined hairstyles (some default ones are awful tbh), new clothes (a bit more fashion/class/modern)...would be really nice additions.
The more differents looking models players can create, the better. ;)

To that extent, also looking for predefined models shared by community. A "best model contest" from patreons then add let's say top 3 as predefined models each month?

- Gameplay -
...hang out with multiple companions...option, swimming pool, sauna & jacuzzi locations, grab by the hair positions & spanking (actually just an option but no scene), on the desk & under the desk events, new randoms events between your contacts in their home which you can surprise, anyway more possibilities.

- Graphics -
...and if possible a realistic mod that increase the quality of texture and which add oil, sweating & even more bouncing effects.

Now, let's hope a modder or Vinfamy read this.

(Here's some models from me - See link) Hope you find them attractives :D
Mega
well i'm not modder nor developper, i'm a super fan of this game from soo far, and yeah i support this suggestion, this would make this game more awesome and more options, and in finale make it more realistic <3 and btw Thank you for sharing these models that's awesome :)

Concerning NPC surnames, is there any way to give them a propper one? Right now, there are only 26+1 possible "surnames".

Dunno, some sort of syllable scrabble to randomly give em a silly one, or a txt database like the one with the names... and yes, I know I can "cheat" and do it myself in the NPC profile.

TIA

I haven't previously tried any of the 3.0 betas and the improvements are impressive. :)

However I now suffer from massive screen-tearing, very noticeable in the city view athough I suspect it is everywhere - even when scolling sub-windows like the settings one.

I am using the linux (beta4) release and since no-one else has commented about it I wonder if it is specific to that version? My spec's are middle of the road, i5-6600 and nvidia gtx970 and I get a solid 60fps on the city map even at max graphics (the optimisation is great (y)). The screen-tearing remains if I lower all the graphics to the minimum setting and is still present with camera speed reduced to 0.2.

Is there anything I can try on my end? Are other linux users seeing this too?

screen tearing is usually the other side of the performance spectrum - the game is performing too well - faster than your screen's refresh rate
maybe try using nvidia vsync with the game:

One problem that I had trouble with is the fact that if you buy multiple units of a single item (say condoms) the time it takes to buy them is the time it takes to buy one multiplied by the number you buy. So if you buy 200 condoms instead of 1 the time it takes is 200 times what it would take to buy one. This turned out really bad when I bought 1000 joints (so, I'm a pot head) :(
I think you make a good point. Currently, the way it works is that you buy a unit per an item. But for any items where you frequently buy, that doesn't seem very effective. So I would suggest that we be allowed to buy them in a bulk. You may buy ONE unit of condom OR buy a pack of, say, TEN or DOZEN for condom. Obviously, buying a pack would be more effective than buying either ten or dozen units individually. Once you brought a pack, it will automatically add the units from that pack to your inventory so no need to unpack them manually (like in The Sims 4 for certain items)

Furthermore, I suggest adding warehouse clubs (think Sam's Club and other similar places) where you may buy different items in even larger pack. In the real world, I am uncertain if any warehouse clubs do sell condoms but you can buy larger bulk for food, drinks, and so on in these places.

Now, you may need to look more carefully at how much it will cost to buy in individual units and in packs. Some items may cost more in packs than individual units. You need to weigh the trade-off, whether the time savings is worth more than money. Maybe more time may allow you to not only make more money, thereby making up for the losses, but also to allow you to replenish your stats more. It is all about balancing act. Strategy is the key.

Okay, that was a good suggestion. But for Linux a slightly different way is needed to achieve the same goal:

The strange thing for me is that although I play a lot of varied games it has been years since I needed to use 'Force Composition Pipeline'. I suspect that LifePlay is not interacting properly with the composite manager on Linux since that remedies screen-tearing issues for all other output, at least on my system (arch linux, xfce4 desktop, with picom as compositor.)

So yay, good workaround, but there is still likely an underlying issue with the linux build. Not sure I can help with that other than offering to test experimental builds if you happen to need a guinea pig.

While I'm more than impressed by what has been done in this game so far, I have to give it a pass until it's more finished and robust. The one thing that irks me most (I'm vain, sue me :p) is having such a limited amount of different clothing. I understand why this is a difficult thing to include so I'm not pointing a finger or anything, this is personal preference.

Other than that, I have a really hard time figuring out how this game is supposed to be played. I get the basics, sure, but I have yet to see any other scenes than the few I have repeatedly ran into. Also, what action triggers which chance, how does one trigger certain events, etc..

If the wiki is under development, I totally understand but you could do with a guide that's more expansive than what's available now.

Please, by all means, do not let my comment be discouraging. It's just a person giving his opinion, which is worth basically nothing considering you're doing this with passion and for the wonderful discount-price of free, so I'll eat my opinion if it's considered too rude. I truly do wish for this to become a time-sink for me one day, however right now, it's a brain-sink and I prefer other options.

(Everything here is subjective to the game itself. I might be a complete tool and not have figured out obvious things so take this with a grain of salt)
