Could you add a few new interactions between partners in the next update, such as having dinner or lunch together, a meal and many other things? :) It would also be great to have as many interactions as possible in different places, e.g. watching a movie together in the cinema :)
That is already in the base game...

I play on the default difficulty level, or if the difficulty level is set to the highest, what changes?
I don't play on the highest, but the difficulty affects the rate of skill gain, the rate of skill decay, the rate of energy gain (and possibly energy use), initial rapport and attraction values as well as the rate of gain/loss of those based on your actions, the price of stuff, and probably other things I can't recall.

A higher difficulty means skills increase slower, they decay quicker, you gain energy more slowly, NPCs will have lower initial rapport and attraction towards you, actions that NPC companions like will increase rapport/attraction by smaller amounts, actions that they dislike will lower rapport/attraction by greater amounts, and things will be more expensive

Took a little longer than expected but here it is: PornEmpire 0.7.
Written to use many new APIs from LifePlay 3.18 this release adds new scenes and interactions.

For example castings:

Ironically it took exactly one year and one LifePlay major version to go from PE 0.6 to PE 0.7 :)
-> PE 0.6 required LP 2.18 to run at least. Now we have 3.18 and 12 monts later.

Thanks for the info, do You think that playing at a higher difficulty level gives You a more interesting gameplay, more addictive? :)

It just slows down the gameplay for longer playthroughs. It's not very well balanced though, so I still tweak values separately if I think something is off. Muscle gain for instance is ridiculously slow, even on the default difficulty. Granted muscle is used for very little currently

So this bug has not been fixed? I sent him Your post with Your modification, I thought he would fix it entirely, including hospitals or universities, so he didn't do it, right?
I looked into this further, and it seems like the underlying problems still haven't been fixed yet, so even if the correct scripts had been included with the update, NPCs still wouldn't be going to work/university. Will have to wait for the issues to be fixed in another update

I'm trying this but I haven't fiqured out how to get tenants yet. Also i can go into the other 2 bedrooms but edit bedroom only seems to work for my room not those two?
You have to enter your bedroom between 07:00 and 16:00, then the "Build A Room" action shows up.

if anyone likes my bedrooms so far. i want to take requests for bedrooms, if anyone wants a personal bedroom. let me know what do you want to have:


- which colors do you like?
- do you prefer a special theme for it? (should it have a looking like ( business, cellar, warm and cozy, roof apartment, etc...))
- want you things like "partition walls" (i hope this is the right meaning for that) or should the room other additions have?
then i will try to make a bedroom and i will show you screenshots of what i have made and you can tell if you like it or not.
you can also say what do you want to change, or to add and i will try to do so.

I am actually amazed at how good it is, especially considering that it is not your primary (first) language, & it (English) is not an easy language to learn. So thank you very much for posting & sharing your stuff (material/rooms). I think you do great work. ;)

1. & 3. In the base game file there are "character present". Inside are character body types like f_common_1, f_common_2, etc...

What you can do is start a new game -> you will be in character creation.
Now 'remove character hair & character name' save as "blank copy".
Note: if you forget to remove name you will end up with a 1,000,000 john smiths & one Pocahontas ; )
Then edit body however you want then save body as 1, 2, however many bodies types you want.
Once you have enough go through and replace each of the character presents with your copies. Note: make sure you use the same names as in the character presents folder.
Save a copy of your updated character present folder somewhere else.
Note: every update will erase your work, so have a back up.
(while playing game) go the npc distribution settings and boost the bodies you want.
Now random npcs will spawn with your body type with random faces & hair.

Also make sure you delete/replace character presents in all other mods that share the same name as base presents.
Any unique names should not be touched because sometimes those names are called for mods.

Nah, DONT fiddle around in other mods. This will result in complete chaos (especially for end users - like updates overwriting each other) and you won't be able to easily distribute your mod. Keep your work in your own mod folder or supply dedicated *versioned* patches to the base game / exisitng mods.

Name your character something like "n69_buddy.lpcharacter".
In the mod you can do generatePersonTemporary(n69_buddy).

If you name one of your presets like the existing one (" f_common_1 " ) the mod order determines if your preset is used or another one with the same name.

Sames is true for 3D backgrounds.

By the way you can open the character editor for any existing character in the contacts menu (P key) and selecting "Edit apearance".

Hello, I have requests about modding.
2: They are stored in the *.lp* files in "LifePlay\Content\Modules".

3: Character presets can consist of complete characters or just parts of them. (Open one of the files in a text editor, each line reperesents a stand alone attribute. You can remove attributes you don want to come with that preset. Check PornEmpire mod for examples.) Inside a mod you can blend these presets with existing NPCs.

1: What you try to acchieve currently can not be done easily.

You would have to edit any single lpscene file that makes calls to generatePerson() or generatePersonTemporary() and replace these calls with your own code to come up with your characters.

Rizean (on Discord) is currently writing an lp-builder that might help you doing that. Still you would have to find a way to patch all files automatically or you will go nuts. Also you will have to come up with a patched version every time vinfamy releases a new version of the base game (or any mod like Ravenger6660 said).

Yeah you can only edit the main bedroom.
However there is a "cheat" to edit the custom rooms as well.
Just load them as preset and save them into the home extensions mod folder "rooms".
Keep a backup of your room somewhere outside the mod folder, in case you apply any update!

Just some modder to modder questions/suggestions ;-) :

MoneyMaker:
General: use number.convertToLocalCurrency() instead of fixed dollar values.
File: bargain*_jewellery.lpscene - Why so many files?
I'd use one single followup() file and save the value into a globalVar, that will definitely survive the followUp().

shop-addons / sex-toys:

As far as I see you do not store the bought items with the player. So you basically do not have the items at hand.
(eg. no other mod could use them)
Use Player.setActorVar(RK_dildoQualityLevel, lvl) or something. ;)
A call Player.getActorVar(RK_dildoQualityLevel) will be 0 if the player never bought a dildo using your scripts. (or the quality level you choose while buying)

I'd go this way with all other items as well. Why? A scene would allow you some more interaction _and_ some random events eg. while reading your porn mag.

More-Rides:
I'd ask Vinfamy to give you a player stat like "Player:movementSpeed" that controlls how fast the player can move across the map.

Then you could adjust the movement speed based on the ride type.
Walk=slow, velo = little faster, moto-roller=medium, motorcycle=fast, car=fast

All in all: nice coding! ;)
