Unreal Engine Abandoned LifePlay [v2023.04 Stable] [Vinfamy]
I guess that comes down to preference. As the game uses real world data, some maps might be more familiar to you. As I'm not familiar to most of the available maps, I chose smaller maps. This usually translate to maps with smaller download sizes. I currently uses the Nice map. It's small enough that randomizing all the unknown buildings (which Vinfamy usually advises against cos the sheer volume of data to process) doesn't take too much time (under 3 minutes for my system). Try that with the Berlin map. I waited 15 minutes before I kill the game process when trying that with Berlin map.
Tip: When starting a new game, before making any edits to the buildings, such as renaming places, changing place types, taking over businesses, Save and exit the game. Then go to this folder in windows:

Both but you can turn them on and off. Plus the Netorare only really happens if you let it.
The NTR mod is largely your spouse cheating on you, the Netori mod is you cheating on your spouse. Not to be confused, Polyamorous mod is you having multiple partners, hence not considered cheating.
Netori is when you are stealing the girl from the boyfriend
but doesn't ,matter the IA is trash, i dont like the game, there aren't consecuencies when you are cheating or stealing some1 , i dont like the game

For the first update of 2019, I will finally introduce the much-requested content for pets (the background work for this paves the way for other types of creatures in the future too). I had to wait until I made enough progress to know for sure it can be implemented technically before releasing these v1.18 plans (which is why the plans weren't released a few days after the last version like usual). The full plans are follows:
- Add a system for pets in the game, with innocent pet-owners actions and scenes. I will start with just a single breed of dogs for v1.18, but more breeds and other animals coming in future version.
- Optional bestiality module (to avoid Patreon's attention, I will refer to bestiality as 'interspecies' on all my Patreon posts) with a few animations for the first dog breed. This will be disabled by default (like how NTR is currently handled) because I know it's a bit of a Marmite that doesn't interest everyone.
- Update the API documentation for modders
- Bug fixes and minor improvements
Estimated Release: 10 - 13 Jan
Really like the concept of the game :
Good :
- Feel free to do what you want .
- Have a lot of event everywhere ( at home , at work , gym etc ) .
- Different way to make money ( model , crime , normal work etc ) .
- Complete morphing of character .
Bad :
- Graphic character not great ( Sims 3 look better for exemple ) .
- A lot of empty place in the town .
- Sometines , place to go ( church , gym , shop etc ) don't show . You have to move you mouse to see it ( and not always work ) .
- Trans ratio % seems not work greatly , too much randomly arrive even with low % on it .
What to improve :
- More different place and think to do .
- Better character graphic .
- More clothing .
- Balancing cheating on another character ( so far , always 100% catch ) .
- Wife / husband interaction , be boyfriend or girlfriend seems same event and stuff to do as wife/husband , no real difference .
- Map to better show place to go .

The dev is single person with AFAIK currently no artist to help
When creating a new game, you can randomize all the empty buildings, so there's no empty places in the map. The drawback is it takes much longer to initialize. On my i7 with 32GB of RAM, doing this with the Berlin map took 15 minutes, that is if I'm lucky the game not just hang/crash. I currently using the Nice map, which luckily only took about 2-3 minutes to fully randomize all the empty buildings.
BTW, because of how the game save work, I could upload the savefile for Nice map fully randomized, and anyone can use it provided having the Nice map installed.
For some reason, the UI of the game don't update properly, or in the case of character editor, the sliders won't update at all after loading the 1st lpcharacter file. For the city map, the icons seemed to lag behind in it's update, and you have to wait a while before it displayed. I suspect this have to do with the sheer number of buildings to update, and currently the game just update them all instead of just limiting to what the player actually see.
Another 'bug' is when you alt-tab the game and leave it running in the background for sometime, say 5 minutes. When you get back to it, you'll be in a weird place. Menus are not functioning, the only thing left to do is Alt-F4 to force close it.
I 2nd this assessment. Trans generation seemed too random. Rarely, I got trans npc even though I set the ration to 0 AND set the 'Disable Trans Content' setting. This might be related to the problem directly above.
See about there are no artist currently working with the dev.
Do you mean as soon as you cheat with someone else's SO, the partner always catches you? If it is, this has to do with the script handling such event which for some reason coded in a away that it always catches you regardless of circumstances. There are some code there to make catching you depends on some other parameters, but currently that's commented out.

Im guessing you don't like the game. if you want a AAA porn "game" like the way you want it I suggest get sims and mod it. constructive criticism goes a long way my friend
I like this game alot, i just wish i could trigger sequences such as (i have all mods on) my spouse cheating on me, text dialog for breakup or divorce, a crazy ex wife, i just seem to be stuck at the same scenes for relationships and marriage but i understand its chance-base sometimes. Nevertheless solid work!

You can do these "breakup or divorce" stuff by yourself or by NPC's in the game now already,
I guess yu are new to this game ,there are some criteria needed to get these scenes to pop up .
Just check the "LifePlay__1_14_32bit\LifePlay\Content\Modules" folder & open the files with notepad++ or something.
Everyting is explained in details.
You could force trigger an event by entering it's ID in the console. Read the FAQ.txt and game_control.txt in the docs folder.
Basically, the event ID is the filename of the corresponding script without the ".lpscene". For instance, the breakup event is in this file:

LifePlay\Content\Modules\vin_Base\Scenes\dating\breakup_cheating.lpsceneSometimes when you trigger an event this way it will fail. While this mechanism is largely intended for debugging event by force-triggering them, if the condition in the WHO line is not met it will not trigger. The WHO line specifies which NPC should be included in the event. If no NPC is found matching the criteria, the event will fail, even if it's force-triggered with the console.
Note for Modders:
While you can edit a scene, save it, and force-trigger it while the game is running, and see the updated event run, the game won't see edits to WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHO, and OTHER lines unless you close the game and re-launch it. It seemed the game pre-cached those lines at game load.
Also, if you add a new event script while the game is running, the game won't see it. You have to close and re-launch the game for them to be recognized.
thanks for the info! also i there a way to fix a certain race to be more populated. Let's say I choose Tokyo as a city or Beijing, is it possible to adjust the race population to compliment the area?
Each city map already has demographic data included, so most NPCs generated in Beijing will use the 'east-asian' racial preset, most NPCs in Nairobi will use the 'african' preset, and so on. The city you play in also affects in the average perversion of the npcs so conservative countries like China generate much lower perversion so the girls are much harder to get with (I use data from this

I'm not sure if the idea has been brought up yet but is there a plan to have roommates?
Most of the scenes needed are already in the game and just need to have dialogue and triggers altered.
Finding a roommate would be just like the job interview process, but as with that it would be nice to have the option to decide on who to select after viewing a few. Maybe have them line up like in a house party introduction? (not that they are actually lining up next to each other in reality but a representation of who is who). For the process you could accept their offer on the spot, or tell them you'll get back to them. I guess bargaining the rent could be featured also, with the possibility of ultimatums like in the job interview process.
Living with roommates would be similar to having a sibling. I'm not sure if a general "sexual tension" stat would need to be added in place of incestuous tension, or if perversion/attraction would work well enough. Certain roommates might walk around in their underwear or topless or even naked if their perversion is high (an exhibitionist stat would be better as this does not always come from perversion). It would be fun if they would invite friends around every now and then too. Even organising a house party with your permission. Your roommate could even ask if one of their friends could stay in another room as an additional roommate.
Other content could come from not being able to pay rent which could lead to blackmail paths or just increasing favour/dependence of the npc on you. In the future this could even be a path to some sort of harem situation

I guess a simple halving of rent for 1 roommate and thirds for 2 etc. Being able to set the rent when advertising for a roommate would be best as having an expensive or cheap place would presumably affect the tenants who apply and whether the scenes of them not being able to pay rent come up. Maybe you could up the rent when they are living with you also at the risk of them moving out.
Hope this idea appeals to some people! I feel like real-life things like this would add more to the game at this point than specific fetishes.

I was about to ask about how to tweak demographic data. If it can be customized from the game, instead of hacking some files (currently I hacked the phenotype presets), that will be great.
I like the idea, and I think it's doable. Hopefully with the upcoming updated scripting docs your idea can be implemented in whole.
If you hang out in bars/clubs you will sometimes get a dialogue where an NPC will compliment you and offer you a drink. It is a complete stand-alone event and does not stem from having a conversation with them normally (where you can do things like touch their leg, kiss, chat, exchange numbers etc). This is the only event I have seen that triggers it. Maybe in a future update it could happen with people you know or meet in other situations.
