Perhaps I should clarify... I'm NOT the developer of the game, just a contributor of character models.
If the game is so bad then why are you playing it and why do you care about if the dev is making excuses? Just walk away, play something else and your problem with this game will be instantly solved.mate, nobody believes in shit after seeing that excuse so many times, is the tale of the wolf and the child...
Probably the dev thought the game was pure bullshit after he started making "fixes" then decided to give up, this happens when you make a game that has a lot of bugs, and instead fixing them little by little, you keep adding shit above a broken base game , such a pity this game had a lot of potential, but the dev don t gives a shit about nothing, the animations are shit, the spawn of npcs in random places where they are not supposed to be, the broken dialogues, the crashes , the fucking reset of your char out of the blue, this game has so many errors that should be destroyed tbh
To be fair pregnancy has been incredibly broken for a very long time, and Vin kept building more and more on top of that broken code. Fixing pregnancy probably broke just about every pregnancy event, which would effectively throw months of work down the drain that he'd need to then fix. In retrospect he probably should've just taken pregnancy off of the content polls for a few months while he worked on fixing it as a side project but it is what it is.Even though the game has its problems I always liked this dev because he was very consistent with updates and his work ethic. I really thought that he wasn't gonna go down the usual path of developers.
Okay, everybody has personal issues, so I can't blame him for that, but since March or April things started to get fucky (not in the way we want) - delays, missed deadlines, rework of the update schedule that proved to be very ineffective....
You should visit the games's discord bug-report chanel and see how many unhandled reports there.I don't think this game is too difficult to fix. Worst case scenario is that the fix involves breaking all modules.
The community would probably help fix them if Vin was transparent and gave a guide on how to get everything back together again.
and they dont owe us anything.people always gotta complain. its a completely free game.
enjoy it, or dont.
no need to insult the creators
That's only true if you've not supported the dev financially. I'd say anyone who is currently sending money is owed something, even if it's only a reassurance that their commitment isn't just going to waste.and they dont owe us anything.
Dude, game IS free and noone owes them anything as long as it is. Of course you can pay and complain, but in the end of the day, did they paid FOR THE GAME? Or FOR THE UPDATE? No, it’s totally free and the only thing behind the paywall is early access, and when there is nothing, they have early access to mentioned nothing. For those “early access for subscription” games there is no buy/sell relations and the only thing in the end is support for the gameThat's only true if you've not supported the dev financially. 'Dude', the game is free if you haven't contributed to the dev via patreon. What I'm suggesting is that those who have supported the dev and his game with their money are perhaps owed something, even if it's only a more thorough explanation as to if the game has a future.Dude, game IS free and noone owes them anything as long as it is. Sure. Some compassion maybe? That's only true if you've not supported the dev financially. I'd say anyone who is currently sending money is owed something, even if it's only a reassurance that their commitment isn't just going to waste.
If you like. It would certainly be better than the 'nothing' which some people think those who have funded the game are owed.Sure. Some compassion maybe?
When you put some money into a beggar's hat, it's charity. You don't expect anything in return, and the beggar can be any other begger. But when you become a patron of vin, it has to be vin who made Lifeplay.By that logic a beggar into whose hat I put some money owes me anything.
Nope. And it's a 'nope' because the dev isn't begging by virtue of offering something in return for monetary support. New maps, animations and custom made scenes are only available to be requested by those who pay, although they are of course accessible by everyone once the game is released. Similarly, the KOTM vote is weighted in favour of those who are prepared to spend some cash. So your amusing 'beggar' analogy is entirely flawed.By that logic a beggar into whose hat I put some money owes me anything.
i am sorry to say this but sims 4 do not have better looking models end lifeplay sims 4 is smaller models but yeah lifeplay have some bugThis game have so much things to do... sadly the models (and clothing clipping) and the animations, are worse than sims 4 with adult content.... really sad. In all a good game with many possibilities.
