When you put some money into a beggar's hat, it's charity.You don't expect anything in return, and the beggar can be any other begger. But when you become a patron of vin, it has to be vin who made Lifeplay.
Nope. And it's a 'nope' because the dev isn't begging by virtue of offering something in return for monetary support. New maps, animations and custom made scenes are only available to be requested by those who pay, although they are of course accessible by everyone once the game is released. Similarly, the KOTM vote is weighted in favour of those who are prepared to spend some cash. So your amusing 'beggar' analogy is entirely flawed.
This game have so much things to do... sadly the models (and clothing clipping) and the animations, are worse than sims 4 with adult content.... really sad. In all a good game with many possibilities.
i am sorry to say this but sims 4 do not have better looking models end lifeplay sims 4 is smaller models but yeah lifeplay have some bug
NVM found it apparently people being fit causes their periods to be pushed to later days of the month ROFLMAO

For those who's eagerly wait for updates I present the reworked Nickno's PornEmpire Mod with the permission from the author.
Let's call it PornEmpire Extended.
Short description:
Porn Empire is a LifePlay mod (add-on) that allows you to run your own porn business in LifePlay. At the beginning you start at a very low level, taking crappy videos with your smart phone of your sex workers and your perverted dates. Over time your business grows and you can buy more equipment and employ staff workers that will assist you in reaching your goals and extend your business further.
Whats new and what's different:
- This version of mod extend the capabilities with managing brothels and stripclubs (buildings and employees too)
- Many more staff and worker type included with they own roles and functions
- Bunch of new rooms, lot of new scenes and events (some new, some rewritten and extended from the originals, some special)
- Implemented and enhanced some part of the old and outdated mods like sb_BeautyExpansion's plastic surgery
- Optionally maintain (only) the model's and staff's visual appearance during the pregnancy
- Comprehensive dialogs and npc reactions, new behaviors (like the experience and morale)
- (new!) if enabled the mod generated npcs gain surnames based on they ethnicity
- Much more details, statistics and management option

Compatibility:
This version of mod should compatible all those mods what did not alter the basegame preferences, especially the lpstat files.
NOT compatible with sb_betterpregnacy and only partially with the sb_pimpyourgirl mods.
(Note: Maybe if the game's dev rework the pregnancy mechanism, within this mod should disable all or the affected pregnancy related features to maintain the usability!)

I did not make this mod a new thread, so this avaiable only here.
Also I can only supporting this through PM's, BUT I don't promise anything about it in the future.
I know there is still some unfinished things can be found within so it's still somewhat incomplete, but it's gets too big to grow further.
At last I just wanna say thank again those few guys whos gave me helping hand with testing things.

- Added some QoL changes to the menus
- reworked limitation to find talents at exec and during post shooting

it is, guys this is an essential mod. get it.
i had the grand opportunity to test it for slightly more than a month now and the mod from icebird is stable and a must have.
and thanks Icebird for granting me the opportunity to test it before anybody else.
There is a problem I'm facing (v2023.04 stable), one of the character name duplicate the new contacts ; when I added new character contact is showing the previous character name but the character doesn't exist/same who's l last click.
After deleting and reinstalling every new character doesn't show name and character image

Are your game instalation is okay? At first it seems to me the game cannot create a file for your new characters. (I think it's located here: '\LifePlay\Content\Saves\_session\Characters\' If you make a new npc should appear here as a numbered file with lpcharacter extension)
But what do you mean on ' reinstalling' characters? You use somekind of template to do? (character templates can contain fixed names instead of generated ones)

... If you inspect this game only within the last few months period you are right. The 5th series brought almost nothing remarkable (except some serious bug) only made the situation worse. But anyway it's free, it's still playable and the sandbox games leads nowhere, right?(...and a littlebit still better too than the new VN gamespam trend's pieces on the download page.)

There are bunch of bugs and cringey plots in this game. People were standing in the wrong positions, stuck in and out of walls.
It's kind of like AI spongebob, those characters and what they're saying doesn't making any sense. The scene creater tried to use limited functions to make the picture fit the script as much as possible, but it still looks ridiculous.
Above all, this game is still insteresting to me.
Probably not, there are game breaking bugs that have never been addressed and as its looking like this game is abandoned most won't likely be.
Try extract the downloaded full game to a different location like C:\games or similar. The random npc names get from the \LifePlay\Content\Modules\names_F.txt and the names_M.txt. So check if they're exists too. Start a new game with default setting and see what's happen. If it seems ok, you can start refine settings and activating mods.

Indeed, I look at the game as a tech demo of a graduate which haven't really gained much real working experience but wanted to see the limit of his skills when i think of the game delivery and the quality as an overall. ambitious like i was when i first grad.
that is why i try to refrain at spewing discouraging unconstructive criticism personally. it might began with a grand ambition but due to lack of necessary experience in executing projects like such that led to what it is today. i think it has snowballed to a point where it would be easier to rewrite from scratch than to fix it.
personally i would say it is a good decent attempt and the idea is good for a tech demo.
now, can the tech demo be improved? i think with the limited resources the author have it is rather tough. does he want to rewrite every all over from the lessons learnt from the project? i hope he does but i cant blame him if he doesnt.
i ll like to applaud him for daring to test his skills though, i wouldn't have such confidence to pull off something of such scale without proper resources. and i am sure he learnt something valuable from the experience where it takes someone on a payroll a while to realize.
i wish him all the best in his endeavor if we do not get to hear from him again. if everyone think of this as just a tech demo, hey it isn't shabby at all!
a tech demo which holds so much interest and anticipation despite its numerous flaws to me, is a success.
now how does he want to carry on with the success>? depends on what u guys say to make him think whether it is a success or not, put urselves in his shoes for a moment.
i think the dude is just trying to see his limits, which isnt a bad thing at all; if there is nothing constructive or supportive to say, best save it.
