Last update was only 4 months ago and last post from vin was 2 months ago on discord. Unless they changed the rules or the mods know something that we don't the abandoned tag seems premature, but it's honestly hard to argue with it at this point imo

its fine just everyone is rushing to make the game look like the dev gave it up when im reading discord and seeing something different. i post what dev says people still saying no updates @_@

Nothing even there in over 2 months. Still, it's less than 5 months since the last update or Patreon post, so normally not marked abandoned.

Not gonna lie, I was a bit hopeful after seeing this one abandoned: I would've loved if Vinfamy had finally realized how this version of the game is messy, unscalable, bug-ridden, and pretty much a proof of concept, and instead had started anew on Life Play 2 focusing on growing the core whilst leaving the "mods" to the quite capable community.

I was a fan of this game (Hell! My avatar is still the main girl I used) and was a patreon supporter for a while because this game truly has a lot of potential and Vinfamy proves to be a capable developer, but it looks to me that time passes and little changes.

From checking the rules seem to be.

Technically the rules are:
-3 months of dev going radio silent about the game
-Or if the dev is still talking about it but goes on for 18 months without any update then abandoned also can get applied.
Both enable a game to be tagged as abandoned

Most recent known message seems to be dated July 12 as per a few posts before, so not until October?

There seems to be a segment of the forum population who take some kind of delight in getting games marked as abandoned, even when they clearly aren't. Not sure why that is, but it is what it is.

This should have been marked as On Hold. Has the developer said that he will stop all development on this game? I don't see that anywhere.

This one has never gone more than a month without an update before, and from the last message from the dev (on Discord, which doesn't count towards the no messages as for most devs not everyone has access) it should have been no later than August. Still, I don't believe this is abandoned unless something happened where Vin, at least for a bit, can't update.

As He mentioned erlier, this is the personal turbulance. I think that we all must give Him some time to get back on the track.
There was no hint that He abandon this project for good.
As a fellow one said "Patience you must have, my young padawan.".
