Looks like the game is definitely dead, Vimfamy was active on here yesterday but didn't leave any comment or update that no the game isn't abandoned. The lack of communication says a fair bit. I wished it wasn't, the game had great potential but when literal game breaking bugs were left for months without fixes I assumed it was going this way then.

One of the only porn games with emergent gameplay AND a great random character generator. I'm gonna keep playing even if Vin doesn't update. Get well soon homie.

You could say it is actually complete. Of course, it could be a lot more. I modified it to my liking, and it doesn't take very long for it to do what it's made for. I'll never get rid of it, as I have backups on a flash drive and on my spare computer.
Man, it hurts a bit to see the game getting abandoned. This game is still my one of my all-time favorites with its ability to make new events and stories. Good luck, Vinfamy, on whatever you do next.
I enjoyed this game and it does feel like the dev has burned out (I don't blame them). IMO this game is a massive achievement. Did ONE PERSON make this? I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to have to deal with endless bugs with no help.

I think if someone other than Vinfamy did it it would be too different.
We need someone to build up some lifeplay 2 with newer engine, and some proper patreon finance. wait and see if that challenge is ringing some bells for someone...

This would be good if he was asked and he gave his blessings, but to do it without his approval after all the work he put in would be messed up big time! Giving the source code does not say, Go ahead and steal my game!
I'd rather see Vin back and fix all the damn bugs before doing any more kink updates, and not a complete redo by anyone.
I'm not suggesting anyone steal the game. The source code comes with licenses stating how the software can be used/modified. Unfortunately I'm no license expert so I'm not sure what all the dos and don'ts are with the included licenses.

Open source license basically gives anybody interested green light to fork a new software out of source code. Some my prohibit commercial use of it, and use of it in closed sourced projects.
In other words, there is no stealing here. But I doubt somebody is ready to fork this complex project.

I been playing this game for so long and now it gets abandoned, Vinfamy did so well with this game, probably one of the longest lasting games on here to be honest, everyone usually abandons there game so I hope Vin comes back they are great at making this game.
Sad to see this regularly updated unique game abandoned, I hope Vinfamy is alive and well. Wishing the best for him, hope he returns at some point.
Especially since it was largely Blueprints the last time I loaded it up in UE. I'd be more inclined to dig around in the code if it had been C++ instead.
