Found out i had to move the file, now im just stuck with an error. Is this from my end or is it the download file?

Hopefully that's a bad download. If redownloading results in the same error, you may want to run a memory test. I've been using the update files, so I can't confirm off-hand that the file is good. EDIT: the file at the MEGA link works for me.

In terminal:
1) Open a terminal window
2) cd to LifePlay directory (e.g. cd /home/m/Downloads/LifePlay_2_14_Linux/)
3) chmod +x LifePlay.sh

If your LifePlay folder is in the Downloads directory, you type cd ~/Downloads/LifePlay_3_13_Linux (replace with the correct directory if it's wrong) once you're in the directory you type chmod +x LifePlay.sh to set the shell script as executable, then you should be able to launch LifePlay.sh by typing ./LifePlay.sh

Hey guys im not a modder in the least but I thought I'd take a crack at it. I'm trying to make a Breast Expansion mod but it doesn't show up in game nor am I sure i wrote it correctly. If anyone would be kind enough to go over it and fix it or let me know how to fix it I would really appreciate it and share it on the thread obviously.

Suggestions:

The ability to turn off condom use by NPCs, especially one's own prostitute and in porn.
ability to block certain positions the player HATES
Again, have sex scene characters spawn near the center instead of always on the edge/in a corner so you can see them without messing around moving them/moving the camera. Also, if sex starts they don't move once everything loads up. This is for rooms with no bed.

1) You can delete it (go to a folder /LifePlay/Content/Modules/vin_Base and delete subfolders Descriptions and DirtyTalks. Just keep in mind it will re-appear after you update the game, so you will have to repeat this.
2) I think it also can be deleted somewhere.

Its kinda easy. Just unpack the main game and then insert the files from the patch.

You shall input correct path to your file, not just copy the example path from the instruction. But before you dig deeper into Linux, check your hardware. Since you bought a Chromebook, it might not have the videocard able to run the game. When I used to have Linux on my laptop, the game always tried to use the integrated Intel videocard. The game worked, but as the integrated videocard was not able to utilize OpenGl 4 or 5, the game was basically unplayable with chequered skin textures (not to mention low framerates). I had to manually made the game using the discrete Nvidia card by -primusrun command in LifePlay.sh

So, first check the videocard. Most chromebooks have only integrated ones, if your chromebook is like that, you'd better not waste your time trying.

I think the comment hasn't received much attention because we'll probably never know whether it was just bad luck that Patreon happened to do their job efficiently for once, or if someone grassed the game up out of spite. Personally I believe that one of those scenarios is much more likely than the other, but either way the end result is the same. Fortunately, Lifeplay lives and goes on, which is what really matters.

Well I certainly agree that either scenario is possible. And believe me, I am an extreme cynic, so its despite my own nature to feel this way for a change. But in this case I just happen to wonder why without proof the majority of posters seem to be jumping to the conclusion that a mysterious anon boogeyman was responsible. It would be different if someone was trolling him for weeks about how immoral his content was, or something. Then even without concrete proof, suspicion would rightly fall on said person.

It's no surprise to me either that the cut content will be unofficially supported through alternative channels here, and it really shouldn't come to the surprise of many who post here either.. So aside from just generally making things inconvenient for everyone, assuming said boogeyman does exist, he'd have effectively failed at his mission.

Its a moot point anyway. As you mentioned, development continues and I'm sure that's something we're all grateful for. Vinfamy's been a top notch dev, and incredibly reliable with his updates. Its great to see such diverse updates coming regularly.

what happens "in the code" is that the family member is copied then deleted so to remove them from "relationship group" and to move them into "other NPC group".
As a result they are moved out as well. Also not considered "family" so it no longer triggers family/incest events.
My guess is the you can't change their title to girl-friend/wife if they are in family group because of some error/issues??

It is a moot point, but it may be worth revisiting just for the hell of it.

So, while there is no absolute evidence to prove one theory over the other, I think that some people witnessed the kink shaming, both here and on the Patreon site. Then they witnessed the dev saying that he had a personal liking for one of the subjects that was being shamed and asking for such behavior to stop. Then they witnessed the game coming to the attention of Patreon mods just a few days after that appeal was made. For those people, this chain of events - combined with the knowledge that this game has had non compliment content for a long time through multiple updates, and that Patreon relies on informants as much as it relies on it's algorithm to search out such content - provided enough 'evidence' that this was more to do with foul play than just bad luck.

But, moot point aside, I'm pleased that the 'mysterious modder' has found a way that allows the now banned content to exist, and I hope that the dev will continue to be supported on Patreon so that this excellent, free-to-play game can live on.

1. When you add clothing to NPC's inventory, MC is naked.
2. STILL spawning sex scenes usually on the edge/corner, not middle
3. Camera when switchhing to sex scene rotates/moves forward
