Entire chapters are still what I plan to do, I wouldn't know how to tell this story otherwise without losing a lot of the dramatic impact these chapters have had.
You could very well be right about people starting to overlook the game because of it's slower release cycle; reception of chapter 3 has been great, but it remains to be seen if it translates into similar increase in pledges as chapter 2 did.
This neatly ties in to the third part, because at this time, the income per hour invested in LomL is still just a fraction of the income per hour from my day job, so hiring on additional talent is not an option. LomL will have to remain something I do in my spare time as I transition into a new full-time day-job somewhere next month.

have you considered doing what Braindrop and Runey have done and splitting each chapter into parts for tier 3/4 pledgers who are willing to pay for early access to each chapter? not only will it increase the amount of attention this game get but may also increase the amount of pledges you have as well. i understand you wanna keep the dramatic impact they have but i feel there is enough of that between each of the day pauses to have a dramatic enough effect that you wanna keep going for each chapter

That'd be pretty hard, really. As I'm writing the scenes, it's not uncommon to revisit an earlier day to adjust it a bit so the dialog or choices offered better fit the day I'm working on, and if that day is already released, it's crystallized into canon and I couldn't do that anymore.

Also, the distribution of time spent in different areas of the game is pretty uneven. The two days in the weekends their alternative settings and events take me at least the same amount as the 5 working days in a week, because during the weekdays assets are recycled a lot more. Work on the weekdays itself is mostly the lewds as they're complicated scenes again, with new environments and multiple camera angles and oh so many different, complicated poses. So this chopping wouldn't result in a steady release cadence of roughly equal parts.

Bottom line though: for me the primary goal is to make something that is the best I can make it (for what that's worth). Whenever the choice comes up for increased patrons/support vs better quality, I'm going for quality, and trust that in the end that's what the people who choose to support LomL really prefer.

Just played it for the first time

Was a nice and entertaining 4 1/2 hours

Had me cracking up with some situations, always love some humor in a VN.

Absolutely love the models btw...I do not get the people disliking the models???
(Probably because they do not have DDDD cupsize boobs)

I think the girls in this game are already pretty corrupt, but not in an overtly obvious way. Denise is the one pushing it with MC, it was her idea for him to masturbate his manly bits (while she massaged him) and make an adult game, she also sat on his boner while making that game. Now, she is doing that stuff to try to bring the family back together and I wonder if she actually wants them to be "together" together. Macy seemingly has had a crush on him for a while and more than likely wants to bang him, she was jealous of the mom and her anger is her trying to distance herself from MC, who she believes she can't have or she isn't good enough for. They both sleep topless together and have done some lesbian stuff together (which the tag needs to be updated for).

If it gets more steamy between the two I will add the "Lesbian" tag.
Right now I do not consider what there doing as a "Lesbian" act but more of a teaching act.
I look at Denise sucking on Macy breast as a security blanket type action.

I think this has more actual lesbian content than some games with the lesbian tag. Ever since playing the last part I can't help but be shaken at the core. This game unlike most the characters feel awfully realistic so having an ending like the one at the end of the last chapter update make me more uncomfortable than I thought even though its been over a week since. So much so, I had a dream almost nightmare tier about it. I was all with Denise about getting closer, but unlike most games due to how its written I felt like boundaries were needed to be made. But the final actions of Denise and Macy at the end of the last chapter, something felt off, not right and unsettling. I think its because the characters feel like actual people and not the typical caricatures found in similar games, which is why even so I am incredibly intrigued what it means going forward.

oh the game is so damn good the long wait for the update was really worth it it is so much fun to play the game you can hardly get away from the game ..... I love the character denise who is so fragile and tries everything to keep the family together and

then marcy who is so dismissive oh and i think the dance animation by marcy is so awesome that is really great done really very good job like everything in this game i hope that you really have a very high level of quality keep doing this and take the time you need for the next update

Bull. I know for a fact that one of the gallery sets requires you to follow one of the 'trio' into the bathroom and treat her like dirt. Treating her 'nicely' actually stops the scene from happening.
The biggest problem I have with treating the daughters 'nicely' all of the time is it feels like we're enabling the younger with her anti-social tendencies. If we keep it up, it feels like she'll end up a shut-in who only associates with family.
