have you considered doing what Braindrop and Runey have done and splitting each chapter into parts for tier 3/4 pledgers who are willing to pay for early access to each chapter? not only will it increase the amount of attention this game get but may also increase the amount of pledges you have as well. i understand you wanna keep the dramatic impact they have but i feel there is enough of that between each of the day pauses to have a dramatic enough effect that you wanna keep going for each chapterEntire chapters are still what I plan to do, I wouldn't know how to tell this story otherwise without losing a lot of the dramatic impact these chapters have had.
You could very well be right about people starting to overlook the game because of it's slower release cycle; reception of chapter 3 has been great, but it remains to be seen if it translates into similar increase in pledges as chapter 2 did.
This neatly ties in to the third part, because at this time, the income per hour invested in LomL is still just a fraction of the income per hour from my day job, so hiring on additional talent is not an option. LomL will have to remain something I do in my spare time as I transition into a new full-time day-job somewhere next month.
