Agreed, I understand if it's not one's visual preference, but there was no reason to be a jerk about it, especially when DAZ characters in majority of games already look very similar lol.
Fellow Latino? I ask since that's basically my genetic ancestry as well, just less North American Native. I have the high cheekbones and bronze skin, but seems I got the small nose gene lol. I think it's just the preview pictures that make the girls' noses look bigger, they're not that big in the actual game.
Wanting to be more on topic for this thread, I'm now in the middle of Chapter 2 and holy crap this game hits in the "feels". I'm just a 20-something guy with no kids, but this makes me want to be a good dad rather than pervy dad lol.

I any case, not every AVN needs to look like it is part of the CW. Or the late 1980s/early 1990s porn where nearly every single actress had the same blonde hair and a similar look.

The relevant information is that the update is an entire chapter and takes time to produce by one man alone.
The Progress is visible in linked post at the bottom of the picture. And this game never had a release date ever. Not one update was forecast ever.
It always was done when it was done and the running gag has and always will be the word "SOON"
Sorry for necroing this post, I just binged this game and finished Chapter 5 in one night, and this struck a chord.
Didn't think that I would actually empathize quite a bit with Macy. My father passed away many years ago, and being an only child I became extra protective of my grieving mother. For a couple years I would get upset and jealous when others would try to convince my mom to get back into the dating scene, viewing it as a betrayal to my father(her late husband). Just like Macy, I wanted to keep the family together and not have some stranger change things. Obviously I wasn't into my own mother "like that", but I did enjoy the fantasy thought that I could be the one taking care of her lol.
Luckily I've gotten over that feeling, I realized that I want her to be happy, if that means meeting other people, then I'm all for it, so long as they treat her right. What helped is that she did briefly date one man that was awesome. He respected me as a peer, not trying to be a replacement father figure(I already had a dad). She hasn't dated anyone else since then because she can't find anyone else "as good as your dad"(her words). However, I'd be supportive if she does find someone who makes her happy.
I can also sympathize with Denise, since I wanted to watch over mom out of love for my late father and wanting to keep his wife/our family safe and intact.
I agree with your assessment that Brooke is the logical choice, she really has very little ill will. That said, the rational choices are rarely the fun ones in games. I play these games to indulge my "inner Macy"(except I'm a son) hidden in my subconscious, not play the rational healthy option lol.
I think you nailed the analysis with regard to the girls' reasoning for seducing their father and how it ties to the Lot story.

I think this is what makes the game a very special kind that has no competition. While others make such games for the sex or shits and giggles along the way you get all that here as well and a huge bonus you can't find anywhere else.
The interaction between people and how complicated it can be when people struggle with their emotions and how said people try to keep going while the inner feelings eat them apart is astoundingly accurate.
The fact that my daughters could relate alot to this situation macy and denise are in and the fact that you can as well with growing up as a half orphan (sorry to hear about your dad) and identify yourself with a character in similar shoes as yourself is quite a feat to pull off without making alot of mistakes in the process.
Sadly i have to agree about the "inner macy" thing. All my daughters are more like her and less like denise they roast my ass on every chance they get so i can relate to the "indulging your inner macy" part.
Your mom seems like a very intelligent women who figured out she shouldn't settle for anything less than "as good as your dad" kind material who is good for her and good for you. And if you support her on that all the better. It can help alot if your mom gets in on the thought process of men that you can give insights to as we tend to be allergic ot other mens bullshit. My daughters did the same for me and it helps alot.
It is quite fascinating to hear that many people with different backgrounds can relate to certain aspects of the game in different ways. Not something you would expect from a sex/porn game but a testimony to the skills of naughtyroad for sure.

Oh I wouldn't say I'm exactly like Macy, I'm actually very kindhearted and understanding with my mother. I just used to have burning rage of jealousy whenever the topic of her dating other men came up lol. Most of my rage was lashed at the other people giving these suggestions to my mom, I kept my jealousy hidden from mom herself. I think she could still tell though, since she would always decline such suggestions and claim she was fine being single.
What I meant by "Inner Macy" is how I usually play incest games as an MC that is selfish with their family members lol. And well there's the whole fantasy(heavy emphasis on fantasy) of "if dad is not around, then I can be the one to take care of all her needs, she doesn't need another man" lol.
Yes I'm amazed at how this game has sparked genuine conversation about social/familial issues. People download it expecting a typical porn game and end up finding some deeper meaning to the narrative. Who knew an adult game could trigger introspective thoughts haha.

After having a Castlevania fever, i just played the whole damn saga (minus circle of the moon, crap game btw) and the Netflix anime is awesome btw, but today i come here and RN i feel like Alucard, ill just ask a Belmont to wake me up when the update is done LOL

Yes and yes. We pick everyone. No one is safe. I do believe you can start from your former save unless something would be screwed up in the versions but it worked so far so i believe NR will make the next version as well compatible with the saves again. If not he will surely let us know.
