Indeed, each one knows their likes. But I can understand the appeal to some people of kinks that are supposed to give pleasure to them if practiced, even the ones that I'm not into. The strong appeal they feel for things not straightly related to direct satisfaction is what confused me. Pregnacy as main example, but also the N-word. Not judging, just a bit of perplexity.

As a father of 4 and once divorced i have to tell you i have the same problem with Futa, NTR or cheating stuff. Yet some ppl seem to like it and i don't judge that. But i would never play a game with any of that inside it. Once you get cheated on with a kid involved that you raised only to find out it isn't yours, is a whole other level of getting gut punched.
The pregnancy fetish can also happen to you once you have a wife and you find out what pregnant hunger (aside from food) really means. I don't have that fetish but i saw alot of men getting that once their wifes started to schedule their free time for some bedroom activity and the word "No" stopped existing for them.

The age gap is also not an issue. See Heidi Klum, Madonna or many other celebrities. They have lovers who could be their sons or grandsons while no one bats an eye when Jack Nicholson smashed Jennifer Lawrence and for once in his life proudly stated "a gentleman enjoys and is silent" while the guy literally fucked every women in all of hollywood and boasted about it whenever he could.
Sean Connery and many others also had way more sexual encounters as people seem to know in their 50s and beyond yet no one seemed to care if a 50 year old rich guy banged some chicks in their 20s. Sean Connery is a special case however as he was stated as sexiest man alive in his 50s.

In todays world 50 is not even old anymore. Neither is 60. For men that is. Hell there are even male bodybuilders in their 70s out there who would put us all to shame.

However. You like what you like and you dislike what you dislike. Nothing wrong or right with that. If you dislike some stuff thats totally fine. No one will judge you for that. I do not share your opinion on that but i can relate to it as i have also stuff that i don't find appealing. In fact there are some kinks i find rather disgusting but i won't kink shame anyone ever.

Oh to be so young that you consider 50 positively ancient… one day you will think back on this and laugh ruefully. Being a 50-year old parent is no biggie. It’s when you hit the next decade that it starts getting a bit hairy, but some guys manage to make that work as well. An acquaintance of mine started over when he was past 60 with a much younger woman. He says he was a much better dad the second time around. More time for them, less work to steal his attention.

There is no question that htis game is of the highest caliber, but there are a plethera of other games of equal (possibly higher, I don't know) quality as this. Please don't ask for names, because I have played so many of these games that I have a horrible time keeping them straight, And its tacky to give out other game names/links on another games page.

I've had my fair share of porn games, some with really funny writing (Akabur games are always a joy to read through), one, in particular, was even debating taboos and society (vitamin plus).

But LomL particularly does something that would be unthinkable for a porn game, porn isn't the focus of LomL. The two main characters, Denise and Macy are not there to service the player, it's quite the opposite, we are there in service of them. The MC relationship with them is much more fatherly than romantic, they just went through the shock of losing the most important person of their lives, and we as the MC/father are there to reach out of this rock bottom situation.

The game makes us care first about the characters first then add the porn later, and honestly, I have never seen this done before. Even mechanically the game enforces this idea, as the main characters struggle with their major weakness (anxiety and rage), or how the MC is still coping with his loss when he is alone.

LomL is the kind of game that I care more about choosing the option that will make the daughters most happy than if It will result in a sex scene.

Make no mistake, I follow a huge number of the VN's here, but this one is unique in a very unique way. That may sound vague or confused, but I've yet to find a way to say it more clearly. I fully agree that there are a modest number of exceptionally high quality games here, I make it a point to play them, LoML's quality expresses itself somewhat differently. NR is taking his VN down "the road less traveled" which makes it incredibly difficult to compare it to VN's that fall into one of the traditional boxes we're all used to.

So I see this game as the highest caliber in its own unique fashion. Truly exceptional, but very difficult to compare to any other,. Your milage may vary, and this is all subjective, so in the end it's all opinion. Thanks for listening to mine.

My two kids were born when I was 26 and 33. The time with my wives pregnant was a special time in my life. Both of them had problems nursing, so that may have left me with some unfulfilled desires for nursing play (and when I was born, respectable women didn't nurse).
