Depends - I can say that my wife was horny as hell 6-8 months in. She was huge (twins, and she was 5'3"), and loved every minute of it. 3 times a day was not out of the question. If the actors don't have a connection and it is a "just fuck and get it over with" I am not into it. You can tell when they are into it.

Why this game works so well despite having a "incest" kink attached to it i think is the way of how the story is presented.
You get to know the characters first. Get the emotional hook in at the beginning and sit on it for a while to really make sure the hook got you good before the story advances and gives you some more background on the characters which makes you more attached to them.
Then and only then the sex or porn stuff starts to appear on the horizon. So this game would work regardless of players making them the MC's daughters or not. Thats the Relationship you spoke of. It's not about the incest or no incest. It is a simple relationship issue in which 3 people get attached to each other in a romantic way which makes things very complicated but also very simple at the same time. And it is this dancing at the edge that keeps you at the edge of the seat and caring for said characters. You don't want any of them getting hurt as this could go horribly wrong as well any moment now.
So the emotional hook works and the attachment is established. No we can roll out the relationship hooks for each other in which the characters will start to realize their feelings for one another that go beyond the normal.
If you happen to love 2 women at the same time and they both are okay with that what man would start arguing with any of that? Not even gay men would argue with that. Well they would argue about the women but thats another issue. The main story is about love, attachment and relationships. Incest is only a bonus for those who want it and insert it in their game.
I have played adult games that have made me cry in sadness, to cry in pride and to wrench my heart when characters have died, hell, one even dealt with suicide. The days when ALL games were just porn is over, and I am thrilled to be playing these games in this time. Light of my Life is one of these games. I am not arguing with or trolling you, I am simply pointing out that there are at least a few other games that are of equal caliber.
I do agree that there are games who are on par with this one. But as you said the games on par are few and the only one that comes to mind for me is one that has loving characters and a very good story but also gut punches you in the process to make sure you ain't happy all the way through.
