Don't know about anyone else, but I appreciate the developer not dumbing down the content to Brazzers-level bullshit, but rather approaching this as a complete story and also has adult content. This is more stimulating than mere eroticism.
So does anyone know how far along progress is or how close we are to another wonderful update?

Exactly. Back in the day you had erotic movies and porn movies. But the word movies meant something other than. "I'm stuck" What a twist of events... You had characters that followed a storyline and met another character with a storyline and those characters hooked up and bada bing bada boom sex in the room. Atmosphere with saxophone music. People enjoying the moment. While still porn it was in a better taste.
The Brazzer level bullshit of today has the erotic level of a sausage thrown into an empty store building. Dumb broads with even dumber dudes are shocked or surprised that they have genitals. Go down on each other and act like this is the best thing since sliced bread. No intimacy, no acting, no emotions. Nothing. They could skip the dialouge entirely for all i care cause it adds nothing.
Thats why lots of us old people are in this thread and like connoisseur's appreciating the work of the dev not backing down on the approach of the game! And like fine wine or a good whiskey such stuff takes time. But it is more enjoyable that way.

You really don't need one. It doesn't actually gain you anything beyond someone else's idea of what the "right" path is. (There is no "right" path in LoML.)
I took about a five month break from posting on here, and then came back a few weeks ago mostly to update some mods I have, but today I finally decided to start catching up on this thread again. I'm in a splendid morass about launching our bear comrades from terminologically-challenged medieval siege weapons, but before I get to the parts covering it I have to say the last chapter visually met and exceeded prior expectations and gave a lot of great development of Denise; both in terms of her relationship with the MC and her coming into her own as a character, and the diner saga sort of forcing Macy to reckon with feelings that she had been avoiding is a great setup for future growth.
Also, looking forward to how Macy's new situation will affect the home dynamic now that I'm assuming she'll be around the house a lot more, and maybe we'll have some new routines to explore avenues for her growth. I'll probably have more to say later, as I stopped at the office trio part and I've still got over 100 pages of thread catch-up anyway but just wanted to laud naughtyroad on his continued excellent work.
Also, looking forward to how Macy's new situation will affect the home dynamic now that I'm assuming she'll be around the house a lot more, and maybe we'll have some new routines to explore avenues for her growth. Haven't started it yet tbh. I'm gonna try hard to get a few more boxes filled on the progress bar for tomorrow's status update, and I'll probably get something cooking over the weekend.

So judging by the progress chart on the previous page, we're about a quarter of the way to the next update. The previous update came out in December iirc, and it's been about 4 months since then. Simple math tells me that it could be up to a year for the next update, then - someone tell me I'm wrong, please!

Each of the last two chapters took about a year, and the progress chart for this chapter is following along at about the same pace (a little more than 500 hours in the first 3 months of 2022). I'm not going to say you're wrong, but I'd start looking for puppy vlogs, videos of people reacting to puppy vlogs, and kitty vlogs.

Or you could always replay LomL and refresh the experience. Cause if you go down the dark path of puppy and kitty videos on the internet. There is no coming back. We lost many brave souls who to this day are in a loop watching those videos.
