Considering the museum- and later the school-scene she definitely has some issues to deal with but I wouldn't call it yandere. (Social) Anxiety disorders can manifest in many different ways. Like in this case making one highly concerned with another's opinion or level of love they feel for someone to the point of seeming extreme or even psychopathic. In this case, and my opinion, Denise projects it mostly on the relationship of us the protagonist and Macy. But there's still the grounded subconscious self which Denise absolutely has, given the way she reacts to some of your 'bad' choices towards her or Macy.

e: Capital M on Macy because she deserves it.

Denise has anxiety issues and tries to compensate that feeling with exerting more control on her enviroment and the people in it, like manipulating her father and Macy. Macy humours her (for now) but this will be untenable and, in the end, won't work in her favour.
Also, anime was a mistake!
