Agree, we are little protective sometimes. But it's difficult to explain to people why. If anybody come to this page people first see last release date and ask themself if this is abandoned. Release date suggests that. We don't speak about game quality, there are bunch of great games that are like this one. And more there are dead now. When you have a great game, a long development time and at the end after 7-8 months development time a update worth half a hour, that's terrible. There is no excuse for that. A quality can't be that good for such a long development time. Animations are the biggest and time consuming things who dictates development time. Before 6-7 years games didn't have animations, today there are practically no game without it. And animation means huge investments in hardware. And a team. If you don't split development time among others, you will end with a great game who is played by many players, but nobody would pay a cent. In this situation after some time, game will be abandoned. Not because it's a bad game.
In this game we have long development time, but updates are long, really, really long. Over 5 hours of gameplay (for people they read fast, for "normal" speed readers over 6 hours, even more.) This is not a game for people who skip text and search for sex scenes. If you do that I would suggest a site with porn videos. Short: We are sometimes (over)protective about Naughty.

We bears hibernate the development season, then when the dev trebuchets the game, we bears come out of hibernation and recolect the update and prepare for the coming development season. Thats why we are the bears, and we are in peace with the life of ever hibernation we choose to live.
As a fellow bear i would kill anyone that comes to my cave, disrupt my hibernation and mess up the life cycle i choose to live.
So in the end, we bears have been living here in the thread, a peaceful and quiet life, and we don't want any worms in our territory

We explained in this thread for MONTHS what the thread rules are, what the timeframe for an update is, how you should not talk about the girls looks if it isn't to your liking (as did the mods as does the OP) and we also explained very often how it is annoying and downright insulting to imply, lie or literally insult the dev in this thread about what he does or doesn't do.Don't post anything on this thread man...these people live in an echo chamber of praise and loyalty to the developer, they will accuse you of trolling or report you to the gestapo if you don't praise the developer 3 times a day.

Now with that all out the way we still get ppl like you and others who do nothing but complain, bitch and moan about a FREE GAME! So excuse me if i now rattle down the highlights of this thread in the particular behaviour of such ppl (this time not including you as i give you the benefit of the doubt for now.)
1. Why no sucky sucky, fucky fucky that is 100% to my liking yet?
2. Game abandoned why? last update to long ago.
3. Why girls not looking like the red head cashier i want to smash since middle school in my hometown?
4. Game to short but i read all dialouge (i swear on my cornflakes) Who are the two goblins constantly swarming around the MC?
5. Why girls ugly and not look like the 23526 installment of the blonde bimbo with huge honkers and dumb as a brick?
6. Dev (insert insane arguments followed by fucked up conversation here) therefore milkin his patreons... (yes you can milk a Free game. Don't apply logic cause i won't either)
7. Game not good. Dev not good. Everyone should feel ashamed especially everyone who pays for this game.
8. New Account that got banned for breaking board rules more than once yet keeps posting the same BS that got the first acc banned.
9. Please insert (specific kink) into the game cause i said so. And if you don't i will get mad and start insulting ppl till the mods nuke me.
10. Everyone in here is a simp or paid by the dev to defend his game. Oh and the game is bad, dev is milking and i am right and all of you are wrong cause i said so.
11. Why game so slow? Why story of game so long? Why not everything already done and i can enjoy sucky sucky and fucky fucky already in my free game?
12. Why update taking so long? Is dev (insert insult here)? I could have done a far superior game in a year only. What you mean i should try? Pfff simps i go to other thread where ppl treat me with respect despite me not showing anyone any respect.

I stop here but the list could go on to at least point 50 and probably even beyond that. It is frustrating and annoying as hell. Ppl do not read or search in the thread for anything. While i do that alot myself i at least use words like "please, thank you and sometimes even "i appreciate the help" which goes a long way in almost every thread.
Yet in here all we have left is making fun of bears, ready a trebuchet or when all fails press the "Mod senpai clean the thread please" button and sacrifice a few of our own jokes to get rid of some major bears who can't understand they do nothing that helps the game, dev or thread in any way shape or form.
Hope that clarified a few issues.
One of the big reasons it's so tedious is Naughty Road is extremely good at keeping his audience updated on the progress of each update. Every week there is a new post that shows the progress. You might wish it to go faster, but you can't complain about lack of information or broken promises of release dates...because Naughty Road is also smart enough to avoid giving false promises.
I really appreciate the transparency and honesty (even if I mentally wish each update to fill in a little faster).
lol,I used to pay one of the higher teirs on their patron before the last update. Your not missing much so if you do choose to support them, The cheapest tier is best.

it is quite funny but not as impressive as all your reinterpretations.
On an other subject Trolls need to realise that nobody likes to work (or interact realy) with whiners. And that is how the human brain will interpreet their short post. They need to realise that backlash is due to basic brain function realy. If we where simply simping for the dev, mods would have interveen in their favour, not ours. they are human beings too. They talk with each other. They use peer revew when they doubt their decision or feel to engaged in a subject. ( At least I hope they do.)

Anyone know what daz3d asset https://f95zone.to/forums/asset-releases.95/ he's using to get the large eyes? I'd like to try some large cartoony eyes that look even half as good as the ones in this game. (There's a few assets on the daz3d store, but surely some are better than others, so I'm curious what the artist who does them really well uses.)

I agree with what you said. I can't fathom on the "why" people still need to trash talk on stuff they get for free. Ever since the day people were able to talk to each other from a distance, safely behind their keyboard, they became rude and disrespectful. Although I have reasons to believe they're probably teens whose brains don't function properly, yet.
Anyway, Miðgarðsormr, I love this game. It's so much better than 90% of all other games on F95zone. So I do hope you keep up the good work. And if you need any assistance, I'm not very skilled in programming, though, let me know. Maybe I can be of help, still.

Well... They manage to piss you off. I agree with you in all 13 points you made. But you know that this is a fight against windmills? The time when a new paratrooper, drop from clear sky and ask something about Naughty, the game, Macy&Denise appearance, when update, why, (insert a dumb question)... His appear is measured in minutes, hours. There are everywhere.
