To be honest, I have a feeling that Chapter 7 is a great ending to the whole story. Well, sort of an "open ending". But after playing the story again from day one to the very end of Chapter 7, I would say that... it is just great as it is. Romantic, cute, kind - and that is what makes this title so special and great.

Will I be happy to see an update in a year or so? Yes, it will be very interesting for me to read another chapter. Maybe the whole VN once again, like I have enjoyed it this week.
Will I be dissapointed if Chapter 7 will be announced as the very end? - No, not at all.

It is just my taste and my opinion, but the purity, feelings, kindness, love - all this... actually anti-porn things are what making this title special and great. Sex scenes, these are still full of love, kindness and deep emotional connection - these are not the main thing in this VN. They are necessary, though, but, these are the "Strawberries", while "5 types of chocolate" are things that lead to these special moments. NaughtyRoad did a great job, but it is a job of a tightrope walker: between falling into a classical porn with fetish fest and flesh dolls and... I will say literature - like the story that a reader enjoyes. That makes me smile and, as I have admited in my review, mostly makes me wipe my tears instead of... you know other things you expect yourself to wipe while playing a porn-game.

But this balance is fragile and it requires talent and dedication and a lot of writing and re-writing and I do see that in NaughtyRoad's work. I hope that respected Author will take all the time required to do next chapter with the same balance.

Overall, the story is great and complete as it is to the very moment. Absolutely perfect choice for STEAM at this stage.

... man, that is a god damn challenge. I respect NaughtyRoad for bringing this challenge up front and accepting it. I just wish that the Author will have enough time and... emotions to do it right. With the same close-to-perfection level the events of Chapter 7 are done.

Because I just don't believe that it is just a matter of "yeah, I'm just writting during evenings ocasionally" level of self-dedication to transfer such deep and clever emotions in the format of an ejoyable Adult VN.

naughtyroad is doing ART. The goal ahead is not easy. To keep holding the perfect balance and the SOUL of the story though all these years is a great job. I hope that support received will be enough to get all the time, and funds, and motivation, and inspiration (or maybe that is for the Author's MUSE) necessary to have this achievement of getting another taboo, extremely controversial, oppenheimer-level (ok, a little bit of exaggeration) literature task of

What ? I just tried a new game and haven't got any questions.

I don't believe you can have any LOML saves in the /game folder nor in the %appdata% - completely virginal LOML. Definitely need to have the calibration screen to go through. I just checked, and it works. This video that I made with v0.6.x shows you how its done. #11,962

That's right. Removing the persistent file (on both locations, e.g. the saves directory under the install path, and in the folder under AppData) resets the flags used to track you had this conversation already.

I've had quite a few people reporting back that they got it working. Make sure to read the information in the change log though (here and on OP).

you seem to rely WAAAY too heavily on the "Denise does an innuendo!" joke. like, WAAAY too much. it's getting old, and in my opinion the VN would benefit from toning it down in future updates.

I've still got a bit to go through Chapter 7, as it took me a while to replay chapters 1-6 -but I still have to chuckle when I think about some of the complaints in this thread way back when... Heck, I didn't even discover this game until about the middle of '21 and people were still complaining about the lack of sex scenes, even then.

Fast forward to Chapter 7 and even though I only have played the first half (I think), it's been pretty much non stop sex (other then the visit to the school).

It took four years to get this bus moving at warp speed - I hope naughtyroad has some good brakes on this thing, or we're all gonna die in a fiery crash!

I actually did mention on several occasions that the new gallery is now save based so you'd have to play the scene to unlock it, but I can't really fault you for not digging that up.

The simple truth is, I don't make this game for you. You're a guy that walks past, takes a quick peek through the shop's windows, and then shuffles off. You are not my target audience, you are not even in the untargeted part of my audience.

The gallery is not a primary feature of the game, and in its old implementation it was was a horrible time sink for me to produce, for a horrible implementation that no one really liked, that had one advantage: you didn't have to play the game to see it, which is the one part of it that makes my not-audience happy.

The new implementation is what makes the actual players of this game happy, who are the people I care about. It also costs me nothing to implement for a new scene, which makes me happy. The only guy who's not happy is the guy who's not actually playing this game. Do you get where I'm coming from here?

So why didn't I update the text in that bit there then? Well, to be honest, it completely slipped my mind, and I never bothered to put it on my backlog since you're not a player, and therefore do not really factor into any decision I make about this game at all, other than figuring out how to get the "I hate words so this sux" lot off my back.

Please accept my sincere nonpologies in the spirit they were offered.

German law says Steam's age verification system isn't robust enough to allow it to sell adult content, Steam isn't interested in making changes to comply with German law, so all adult content is unavailable there sadly. No one wins, consumers lose.
