Yeah, but with this game, where do you draw the line between "too much" and "too little"?
You've got minutia modifiers for the depth and elasticity of your holes, production regeneration and production quantity for body liquids, the shape of your horns, cum with different flavors, even the ability to bleach your asshole. By that logic, you could also ditch every sub-morph species and stick only to the bigger archetypes; feline, canine, avian, equine, etc, and let your imagination interpret whether you're a caracal or just a simple domestic cat morph, or between a zebra and a Shire. (IMO, I think I would have preferred it this way too. Exception for mythological creatures, which deserve a category of their own.)
The point is, with the (vanilla) game trying to be incredibly in-depth in some areas, with a ton of customization options (including spawn rates and gameplay sliders), where do you draw the line?

When it comes to porn I have 3 favorites; human (circumcised), horse and tentacles (though I can also make an exception for some xenos). For other species, I imagine them looking like one of these three but with extra traits that are characteristically from that breed, like a human dick with barbs, similar to a cat's, or who is capable of swelling like a dog's.
Guess I'm not very imaginative but preferences are preferences. Also, some animals do have a sheath but their dicks tend to be long enough that they can pass off looking like they are circumcised. Like horses.

To be fair, there's not much variety in dick shapes without going insane. For example, the duck has a barbed corkscrew penis that's bigger than themselves.

There are some pretty impressive reference collections, but I suppose it also depends how broadly you are defining similarity there since a lot of it does naturally boil down to 'meat rod'.
That's exactly how I feel about spider-morphs. However, somebody out there might be sexually attracted to tarantulas, so I shouldn't be kinkshaming too much.
Less of a tarantula and more of an Arachne, which is basically just a fancy spider taur. Sexy human upper body with the bottom of a spider, also associated with attractive but dangerous dommes.

How does the spawn rate setting work, exactly? If I set it to 95% human, 0% taur, and 5% half-demon, does that mean that only humans and half-demons will spawn?

I get that dev like inno takes things like substar for granted but it seems like you got a vendetta against anyone trying to make a living off this over a "rEaL jOb". Its funny that people are still saying something dumb like "real job" even after a whole year of lockdowns where people had to find other means of making money... but naw if its not a 9-5 going through traffic its not a real job somehow.
You must of never heard of driders before then. Think of centaurs, but with spider lower body instead.

Can someone give me a rough idea of what side quests are currently in the game and how to have them happen? Cause the wiki seems to be filled with a lot of outdated info. Unless there's a wiki with more information?

Huh? I'm cool with people getting paid through crowdfunding. I'm sorry I took a crack at your favorite developer and you feel the desperate need to defend them. They're probably not going to give a shit that you did so though. Most of what I said was making fun of substar specifically, and I think they'll be fine.
That said, if you've made a crowd funded game your career, then you're selling a product and you should be treated as such. If Inno were any other company releasing a free to play game with this bullshit going on, she'd be getting fucking rinsed.
If EA put out a patch on a free game where all the patch's content was disabled and you'd have to pay for the next patch in order to unlock the public release's patch's content, people would be screaming to burn the whole thing down.
The only reason I'm making fun off Inno specifically for "rEaL jOb" nonsense is because the release schedule is the biggest a joke I've ever seen in gaming from a full time dev.
The wiki is actually pretty good about side quests, at least for finding/starting them. The last I looked, the only thing missing is some of the new quests DSG has added.
There's just not that many side quests.
Yeah, it's kinda like everyone from the blog found a new place to go, and this is the largest place to talk about the game after the discord hugbox which allows no complaints at all. And usually doesn't even talk about the game.
