"radio silence broken"

it's been 12 days. and they literally said " I'll make an update post to let you all know how things are going in the middle of next week." -- it is now the middle of next week. is there something i'm missing here?
Yeah, you're missing the fact that thirteen days is not a week.

This game has been in development for over 3 years at this point, and while I'm aware it's a one-person project (and as a result, it takes significantly more time), this developer is so goddamn inconsistent with their communication and development it's insane. This is a free game and so my thoughts really don't mean much, and I get that writing takes a lot of time (I write in my free time as well, so I get the struggle) but from what I've gathered, most of the holdups are Innoxia struggling with the tangled mess of code they've made for themselves. At this point, I think that it might legitimately be faster and easier for Innoxia if they'd just scrap their current systems, keep all of the writing and assets, and create a more coherent framework to build off of.

lmao, i thought there was a patreon & a team behind this game for some reason and this was a yanderedev-lite situation, but it's not that at all. well, i guess i can understand base impatience, but kudos to her for apparently prioritizing her own health over others' impatience.

seems like whatever development hell LT may have been going through has already ended. 0.4.1 is new, and 0.4.0 isn't that old, either. that "radio silence" remark really seems kinda dumb now that I've taken a closer look; she's been regularly posting on her blog for a few years now. only 1 or 2 months without any posts at all. and i'm obviously going to assume that the person actually doing the coding knows better wrt that "it might be easier to start over" comment than some rando, no offense (since sometimes it's totally true... like with yanderedev).

this isn't the first time i've seen these seemingly random negative remarks about the dev, but ngl it kiiiiinda seems more like just whining the more i look at it. unless there's something else i'm missing, which is totally possible. idk if there was some specific event that made people (not you specifically, but in general) turn against her.

Inno seems to want to fix the systems piecemeal, extracting systems buried in the spaghetti and moving them to external files. Which also has the effect of making whatever was extracted easier to mod.

But it's probably a question of when, not if, the entire thing has to be overhauled.

No, yeah, I get that sense of disappointment. i really do. i've seen some projects (porn games or otherwise) get cancelled, trapped in development hell, backslide developmentally, etc, and I know what it's like to see great ideas abandoned. heck, you follow new vegas modding at all? i was super hyped about the frontier for years... before checking it out again a few months ago. "let he who did not even get a little bit hyped by cyberpunk 2077 cast the first stone". I get it.

... but that tlou2 community and this freak accusing me of concern trolling are something entirely, totally different from what you were describing (and I hopefully what I just elaborated on), and it's that freakish fervor that I don't understand. i understand sticking with a community where you're disappointed in the subject; i don't understand sticking with a community when you're a screaming white ball of hatred towards the subject. sometimes i understand how but not why it happens; like how the alt-right made tlou2 one of their hate campaigns (since wrongly labeled the deuteragonist as a transexual for being a muscular woman)... but other times, like this, it's a bit more of a mystery.

I don't know why we're indulging this guy. He clearly has only checked in on this every other ever in the entire history of this game's existence.

Plus, he's talking down to us like we don't know how to analyze and criticize code and business strategies. I don't see arguments. I just see virtue-signaling. What's his point? Why is he even here? "Innoxia forever good; critics forever bad." Okay, cool. Anything else? Maybe a mod or some suggestions for one?

Yeah spot on. Be prepared to get reported for saying it though lol

Hey, quick question is multi-Dick and unfertilised oviposition functionally possible?
No. Sorry.

Inno isn't as bad as YanDev but her track record at being disingenuous, lacking transparency and repeating the same mistakes has led to the community losing faith and some degree of respect for her. For some, watching the developer struggle has become a form of entertainment in of itself. A bit malicious I guess, though not entirely unwarranted. IMO it's less about hate and more of "I told you so", after all the warnings and criticism the game has received over the years.

Also, this forum is where the majority of the "critics" decided to congregate after the comment section got shut off. Unless you wish to have lengthy "discussions" with people about their opinions and reasons behind their behavior (which you're better off taking to PMs because its off-topic), you best leaving sleeping dogs lie. There have been attempts in the past to shut off the "negativity" and it didn't end well. Just my 2cents.

Darn, I'm assuming DP'ing with tentacles and/or tails is also isn't possible? (modding wise)
It's currently one appendage per orifice except for the case of two people sticking their dick into the same pussy/butt.
I don't know if the current sex action framework would allow other/arbitrary combinations or if the orifices need some more work for that first. It's still pretty new so there isn't much besides Inno's fairly tame example files (\res\sex\innoxia\actions\meraxis\duel\)

Tails yes, but it's single object per orifice.

That's a line I didn't think I'd type today.

Tail penetration breaks a ton of things too, which is always entertaining.

...that really feels like something that should be part of character creation.
Well yeah, but I make it a policy not to ask for stuff other than progress on the main quest at the moment.

I'm not sure how difficult it would be to add the option to enter a custom, "You lost your virginity to [blank]" and I have no interest in another six-month delay after Inno breaks the entire game finding out.

A quick edit of your first save file and you too can have a main character who lost their virginity in a freak circus accident. Up to you whether that means a freak accident at a circus or an accident at a freak circus.

No. The game has no android port and the few people who tried it gave up shortly after because of all the technical issues that come with it. This game wasn't designed for mobile phones at all and the optimization sucks ass; if a decent PC can barely run it after a while, a phone ain't gonna cut it.

You can try, a few made it boot up, but the UI will be beyond messed up and completely unplayable. If you want to know more, use the search function and look for any entries about "android port". It should answer your question more thoroughly.

Honestly, I don't care anymore. I outlined my thoughts in another comment that got deleted, but the TL;DR is holy fuck I want nothing to do with this toxic cesspool. I regret looking for more information, but thanks for offering it anyway. I'll go check out the comments for... literally any other game. still like lilith's throne, sad it sounds like development is borked, but whatever.

You didn't ask for more information. You just came out swinging and complaining about the thread.

If you have actual questions about the game, this threads a pretty good place to get answers. I don't think I've seen anyone not get an answer in the last ~50 pages or so.

I wonder how extensive the new area is going to be compared to Dominion. Do you guys think it will have the same amount of content? More? Less? What about the quality of the writing? I usually take a long break in between releases, letting the content pile up so I have more to do when I jump back in. I haven't played any of the Elis content yet. Any opinions on it?
