Okay so after coming back from the cabin and going to work, what are you supposed to do next? I accidentally skipped over the text as Lily was getting dressed - I think I saw something about checking job ads, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that
If your looking for job ads, go right on the map, then down when you can and onto the beach. At either end of the beach are notices on the wall that gives you the option to work at castors and delivering leaflets.

is there a sequel for this games? or new update? The fun just started but seems the games dead, isn't it?
Game is not dead at all. If P and P keep their usual communication cadence, they will post an update this week. We will know more then. Suspect we will get some wall papers too. patience... :)

Ahh awesome, thanks! Are they mutually exclusive?

I think the best thing to do is accept both jobs then create a save. Both pretty much will eventually lead to the same route [Job at Castor's], but each contains different scenes or events along the way. I think the leaflet/Library route is due to be expanded in the next update.

Oh something unexpected- This game delaying the date of upload. It will be for Christmas?
Or even later for next year? The update will have one day more, half day or less?
For some time now I have considered this game as something lost

no it's not lost. The release cycle is usually something like 3-4 months with bi weekly post on Patreon and monthly wall papers. They have kept that way for the past 9-12 months or so. So no it's not lost.
P and P also mentioned they are aiming for a release soon but will not confirm a date yet... I suspect Beginning of December.

One thing I love about this forum is that I can take my time and read the posts from people about the game and know more about it.
In the past, I had to wait until the game would be released. but now some friends share updates and you can get some hope.
I started playing this game last year and from the demo I fell in love with it. so I decided to write a walkthrough for it.
Unfortunately, I've gotten busy these past months and I can't play porn games like before but it doesn't mean that I don't have an eye on this game. Damn for Lily of the Valley, if you don't have time, you'll find some to play it.
In my case I just had to stay up a whole night to finish the version 0.92 :D

I know is not lost but I started to play this game two years ago and at first the updates were near every month and with a lot of content. Actually is as you say every 3-4 months (more 4)and very little.

Yeah I know. I've been with them for soon 2 years too and it was one of the first games that that I truly enjoyed playing - I fell in love with the game and Lily lol :)
From I have read from their postings a while back, they have settled into a release pace that they can actually sustain - I mean think about it, both P's are working real full time jobs and there is only so much time left in a day to work on the game. I am happy that they choose to spend that time developing the game instead of giving up. Because obviously $1500/month is not enough to live off for 2+ guys, add H/W + graphic assets etc to that.

LotV is a gem!! And I'd want on encourage them to continue to work on it as long as possible!
Complaining is not going to motivate them to work more or harder I think. Just thinking how I would react...

Love their work and if it takes time, so be it!

1,500 dollars a month is your fault. Their lack of respect for customers, who receive updates out of time. Your donuts monthly, and you do not receive adequate compensation. 3, 4, 5, 6, months an update. And increasingly shorter. That's why they receive 1,500 a month. And it is true that the game is magnificent.

Who's fault and why?

P&P fault, because they have been lying their patreons and coming with very obvious lies of not delivering updates,if I recall correctly that was during last year and beginning of this. In a nutshell, that is a reason why they still make only 1500$ per month

They did go radio silence last year BUT they have recovered and the last 9 months or so they have kept their promises. They are very well aware of the mistakes of the past (and have apologized repeatedly in Patreon posts) but again they have really made end effort to consistently deliver stuff for the 9 months: so far we have gotten monthly wall papers, roughly bi-weekly updates and about a new release every 3-4 months and I think that is what they can commit to do with current real life/family and day job situation. I do agree that the only way they would make enough to live off it, would be if the went all in with monthly releases BUT that would require them to quit their day job... and honestly I cannot see that happen.
So yes they made mistakes last year but I at least have adjusted my expectations to what they can deliver and I'm ok with that.
Do think they failed to deliver in second half of 2017 but I do not think they straight out lied, failed to keep their deadlines (lots of creators fail to deliver on dates they set so that is not unique) but lied no.

Anyway I think we need to move forward and encourage them to continue instead of going on about what happened in 2017.

Love their work! Quality and brilliance!
