Good points and if I played the game again from the beginning to the end and analyzed it to the same depth that you have, I could probably get to similar conclusions. But I didn't and therefore I didn't notice these things while playing, but now that I read it i think you are right in may ways. However, I think you might be over thinking it a bit too much. I mean this is not a best selling novel, but a porn game and they have to manage their time to do graphics, programming, text etc. i prefer that they spend their time on getting the story moving forward and release versions faster rather that they rework, eliminate inconsistencies and cross check that the story works for all possible paths the player can take. But that is just me and my simple view.

When it comes to porn, for me anyway, the story is just as important as the visuals. Why would I play this, when there are dozens of better-made corruption VNs where the PC actually is corrupted, or a game like Eleanor where the PC is already a big, horny slut right from the start?

I think it is difficult to strike the right balance of slow "realistic" (well... at least possible) corruption and get to action fast enough so patrons want to continue to support P&P.
i mean you are right that for instance: the Daniel anal sex, is completely out of character for where she is in her corruption - i mean she barely met the guy and the first sex she has with him includes hard core anal sex just to "help" him to win back his girl friend - when you write it down like that it makes no logical sense...
I guess I am just a guy who can just look beyond that and enjoy it anyway and am happy they got to anal sex faster and sacrificed perfect logical corruption process on the way

One thing I do think they could correct is the Rick progression (the diner manager). So that you could have an option of Lily fucking him too with the same outcome that she gets fired. She needs to get fired so that she can continue at Castor because that is where the story is going to happen from now on. Rick got surprisingly many votes in a resent P&P survey of popular characters so maybe there is hope they revise the scene and/or add more Rick scenes.

i agree with you 100%! I just want them to continue the game the path they are on and NOT deviate and rework/revise stuff (especially NOT some Ren fucking py rework). Honestly, my biggest worry for that past 18 months was that they would give up and just stop this GREAT game, not that there are inconsistencies.

Since it's been brought up, there was at least one incident that bugged me and thought another choice should have been added. When Rick fired Lily, I expected a choice to pop up to fuck him to save her job, and afterwards, he fire her anyway to teach her a lesson. It wouldn't have been any more inconsistent than the other points that have been made and could have led to "some payback" later on.

Note how there is no blackmail tag up there? I'm guessing the devs have made the decision that this is not that kind of game, as in there will be no blackmail or non-con content. I'm fine with that, frankly. She has other reasons to go along, such as money, her own lust for big virgin dick or Nick getting too close to a masseuse.

However, Nicole stringing her along on several occasions annoys me a bit. Nicole is that cliché slutty character that must be in every game to get things moving, and that bores me a bit. The double fuck scene went a bit further than we have seen before. However, the reluctance that @roflcopter mentions is based, I think, on the fact that Lily still doesn't want others to see her cheating, especially Nicole. Frankly, I like that.

I really think the writing in LotV is better than in most other games like it. The scenes and situations are inventive and sexy. Sure, there are mistakes here and there, but no major plot holes, imo. LotV is often compared to Anna Exciting Affection, and that game has long since lost any plot or direction.

That's actually a complaint I have with A Wife and Mother. He's been working on that for like 1 or 2 YEARS, it's several HOURS long, and there's still no sex in it if you don't always choose the "good wife" options. There's a medium to strike, and most other games do it well. I think Good Girl Gone Bad does corruption the best. It really feels like that character is slowly becoming a slut, but the player still has complete control over her actions (unless she isn't slutty enough to do certain things yet) and it's not trying to be a drama first, porn game second

Yeah A Wife and Mother was the one i was thinking of too. he pays too much attention to getting the corruption credible developed with the consequence that he gets a horde of pissed off followers. But there are others that spend a lot of effort on getting he corruption process realistic so he is not unique.
yes, i agree GGGB is a good example of where the balance is good.

Having said that, I still LOVE LotV. It's hard to put my finger one single thing that makes it so good so I think it is a combination of: beautiful 3D model of Lily (she is stunning and that's simply a fact!), excellent 3D scene design (set up, movement, camera angles), many innovative and unique scenes concepts/story, and the dialog/text script. Despite sometimes having inconsistent or illogical progressions from older scenes to newer scenes in the game overall, each scene on its own are well scripted and make sense when you look at them independently. As stated before, it's when you compare scenes written and designed 1 or 2 years ago you see the inconsistencies. Someone like me, who have played just the new incremental scenes for every release, have missed those overall inconsistencies. Last time I played the whole game from the beginning to the end was when the MV version came out a year ago. That is also why I am not bothered by these "things"... not bothered at all lol

You need to start playing v1.1 with a slutty save. For instance use #6 that comes with the v1.1 and then, starting with this save (which is from the end of v1.0) play through all of v1.1 again. This way all scenes should be possible to run.
