If you play the other games on this site, you'll find that they are not more "realistic" than LotV - again these are porn games - they are not supposed to be super realistic.
However, what makes LotV better than 99% of the others is that the story is interesting (and yeah sometimes crazy), scenes are unique, renders are great and of course Lily is super hot. What P and P does well is also to get your imagination going:what happens next? How can can she get out of these cluster fucks? and P and P always comes up with new twists and turns how Lily gets out of them.
It's simply a high quality quality porn game.

Now seriously, what you wrote is exactly what I meant - you are asking how she will get out of this crap situation, a situation that is caused by all her past decisions, a situation that should affect her entire future life - will her husband go mad and do something stupid (like a wounded and angry man who just found out that two of the most important people in the world betrayed him), will she fight for this relationship or maybe she will decide that it is not worth it, or maybe there will be some revenge from Nick - we can probably agree that this is quite an important moment in the plot right? And what did P and P give us? The cheapest and the stupidest solution to the whole situation. And now tell me with a clear conscience that you don't think it's just lazy writing

I do recall that Nic isn't exactly an angel himself earlier in the game unless the creator cut that out in later versions.
