its a little hard to get used with the controls at the begining and it sucks to play at 4k since the "tips/ prompts" that appear on the screen are very small and easy to miss/dont see them, but if you press "e" you interact with the items like the cupboard next to the bed to get the pijamas and also with "i" you open the inventory and by right clicking the items you can unequip them and get in the shower by pressing "e" once you are naked.

At the moment theres not much to do, but it gives you an idea of what to expect, I just hope that the developer get a bigger font for the "tips or prompts on the screen" since they are really hard to see if you are looking elsewhere on the screen. Also by pressing escape you get a menu in which you can set the size or zoom so the game doesnt look super small.

"You're fine with not paying for porn games, why would you care if someone stole all of their art work to make their game?" just doesn't make sense, and for some reason a whole bunch of you keep making that point.

So with this mindset you don't have to play anything? there are tons of games with char taken from original titles, I don't see much difference from this and others.

At least it was a good bit of art to use for your own, personally I very much like the design of Rodinka.
And originality is overrated anyway, plenty of derivative stuff out there that's good, and plenty of original stuff that's crap.

Ok, quick reality check, is the hair now sufficiently removed from the original?



I recolored it, removed the iconic squiggle highlights with boring straight ones, replaced the entire front half and pushed around the back half so it at the very least doesn't align with the original (there's very little there to change otherwise)

as a guide (third from left). I also added a hairline to the outline,like in the guide image.
It'll need a lot more work of course, but that can come later.
Next are the eyes. I don't quite know how to handle them. I really like the style, and don't want to change anything on that front. I'll just start by recreating them without tracing and pray something different manifests itself out of my presumably many blunders.

You should be able to get out of the room following the main Questline ( press Q or via mouse menu (bottom right) )
There are 3 quests in the game currently, though one is an optional main quest part. If you get to the time-travel mechanics you've seen it all for now.

F5 F9 is quicksave/load
Esc opens the main menu, where options can be found.
E is interact
Q is Quests
I is Inventory
R is cRafting
C is Character stats

Right clicking an item in the inventory opens up the context menu. Blue items are equipped. Equipped items cannot be used for crafting. Scroll up and down can revert the dialogue box, but it will stop at choices, including invisible ones (auto-evaluated choices). Shift skips seen dialogue. Shift also toggles run/walk (run is default). Spacebar in dialogues continues to the next page. Enter does the same, but will also select dialogue choices, so don't spam that.
Always read the quest log. It's the representation of a physical book in Lily's pocket and tells half the story (especially in the cat's quest).

in your opinion it is wrong to use the same chars. there are a lot of games with char from other jobs, not to mention doujin, and that is about porn stuff and non-porn stuff. just think of all the things based on dragonball, pokemon, King of Fighters, a few days ago a porn game just here based on Ishuzoku Reviewers came out. not to mention all the doujins I've seen on Azur Lane. and only the drawings are not original but all the other things are original. even here Rodinka's drawings are the same but everything else is different. if you like the style and drawings of a character I don't understand why you can't do something.
as if tomorrow I do a game with char Rosa of pokemon, the problem would be?
the problem would only be the nintendo who are assholes.

The Problem is not to use a certain character, the problem is when you just copy paste the same artstyle. Parodies would be no thing otherwise.

But great to see the developer doesnt just give up on this, rather works to fix it.
I'm excited to see where this game will head.

upd: soooo... why is this game makes my GeForce 2080 Super make high pitched noises and uses about 40% of the GPU and 100% memory clock? I'm not happy about it...

To be fair though, my games on itch.io always got ignored and lost in the ether. I probably shouldn't say this, but all this feedback, even if it's negative, is kind of invigorating.
On the other hand it's a sunk-cost fallacy. People don't seem to realize just how much work this project needed to get this far. I've worked on this for over 3 months, 7 days a week. I really can't give up now, especially when the majority of people, once they got past my initial blunder, are actually really nice and supportive of the project.

Well, too many projects have about 0 content after months of being in "development" while using almost only stock assets, so the doubts is understandable.

The graphic card problem(in update to my previous comment) though makes me nervous... I don't think that this graphics should heat 2080 Super up to 65C...

GPU usage is expected to be high, due to godot's well known batching issues. But the game runs on my 10 year old laptop at 20fps, so 40% on a modern device should not be normal. I'll see if I can reproduce it. You are using Windows?

I don't understand why so many people are getting upset about a game using the same/similar character models in their games. I've played a lot of games (RPGM and Ren'Py) and I saw the same character models. This sort of thing happens all the time. Some of the most popular games on this site took the same character model from other games. The thing with this game, the creator said he/she is going to change her appearance.

Anyway, I'll wait until there's more content and screenshots before I download the game. I like the concept of traveling back to the past to prevent something from happening. Hopefully, I won't have any problems loading the game once I download it. I don't know why, but some games with the "Others" tag don't work on my Mac. Good luck with the game.

Win7UE 64, all updates only before Win10 updates started.
100% mem clock, 46% GPU usage, 60-65C temp, all else is at minimum(about 1% of VRam load and 100% mem clock, this is very interesting).

It's the first time I encountered this kind of problem, but I wont deny that my windows is kinda damaged(I used backup image of my previous build, but for some reason it has some glitches that I can't explain and get rid of, like random freezes for 10-20 seconds on start about 1 of 5 times, and the windows log doesn't show anything out of order, it is literraly the same windows on the same PC, from a full backup image!).

yeah the curse of game development, and programming in general, people don't know just how much time and effort things can take.

The model was waay too similar. If people look at it and immediately think of a different game, and my game is not a parody of that other game, my job as a creator has failed. I'll also have to fix it by the time I want to charge my patreons, if I ever get any. Otherwise, I'd run into copyright issues. (Which yes, copyright does apply to the original character's likeness, if it is immediately recognizable, which this one very obviously was). I planned to only create my first payed patreon update after the character had been replaced, but people couldn't know that.
To that point, all images in the first post are there against my will. I removed them, but mods kept rolling back my changes.

Back to the game. Act1 doesn't even have a mac version, because I couldn't get the compilation to work. Act2 should have a mac version, but I won't be able to test it myself, since I have no mac myself. So fingers crossed it'll work on the first try

I don't know if I can debug this on the quick. My memory clock is constantly at 100% it seems, even when I don't have the game open.
Is this amount of load dangerous to the gpu? I'm tempted to just chalk it up to "Godot is Godot" and leave it at that

For that sort of things I would get your harddisc checked, it could be the sign of a harddisc starting to fail
