I can't disagree with you at all. But as I said, Palegrass made a huge work to create realistic premise and portraiting a character absorbed in plausible situations. First rape scene at the bar? totally plausible. She was drunk and then drugged. Cheating and sharing route? plausible, she's exploring her sexuality and she's discovering parts of herself unknown to her. Same as i said before for giving Paul bjs. This last scene fell short cause there's no balance between what she risks and what she got.
I think that the reason why many people fell in love with this game is that it doesn't follow a naive porn structure storyline ("hey she saw my dick when i went out of the shower, now she will turn into a slut and i'll do what i want with her!") and mantaining that balance is important.
I wasn't criticizing the whole game, just the blackmailing route. I think the game has an history, other that to find scenarios to fuck in every way the FMC. I didn't play the bar's route because I don't find appealing any kind of rape, but yeah for the other routes it's not the typical porn game.
I was willing to play the blackmailing route, even if it's not necessarily my cup of tea, because PG said it would change it. When I saw Paul's demeanor before this update, I understood that I will not play this route, and your precedent comment confirm that it hasn't change. However, I enjoy the rest of the game.

Really wish that renpy version played like a visual novel not like a RPGM game
I thought about it when I first started developing, but there is a problem.
The problem is that the events don't happen in a fixed order, most of the time you have the option to do one later and play another event instead.
Instead using choices, where you decide which event to play (that would be a mess with the time), I solved it with maps. It's easier to navigate through the events, though it can get annoying.
It also makes the transition from RPGM to Ren'py, or vice versa, easier.

Hello quency77!

You gonna make ren'py for v2.62 ?;)

Thanks!
Any update for RenPy version? RPGM is a pain to play thru
As far as I know some of the new events are unfinished. I would like to wait until the finished version is out, which should come with v2.7.
So no Ren'Py update to v2.62. As for now you'll have to wait for v2.7 to get published.

I like the game but I don't like the fact that the developer released an update with the initial scene (Paul's date) left uncompleted. He could have completed it and cut one of the following scenes (if he didn't have enough time).
I had to quit the game because I don't like to play a game having partial scenes. Better to wait for the final release in this case.

WTH is up with the inconsistent font size??? I'm liking the game for the most part so far, but I'm starting to get irritated with the deminishing font size. I'm sure I'm not alone in this, but even wearing my computer glasses, I have had to press my face too damned many times towards the monitor to read what's being said.

This game is undoubtebly one of my favourite. Palegrass has done a wonderful job both on storytelling and rendering. I have to say though, i'm a bit disappointed about the last evolution of Paul's blackmail path. I don't find realistic that a 20yo as lisa is, accept to be raped in public by 3 teenagers just for 1 compromising photo. I accepted the previous paul's bjs cause in lisa's logic it's better give head once or twice waiting to figure out how to solve the situation. But cinema's scene is unrealistic. She could ask moddy or byron to beat the shit out these kids and threat them to delete the photo. I mean they're 3 baby bullies, c'mon lisa, you're not in highschool anymore!!:ROFLMAO:
I think as long as its well written, anything is valid. For instance some girl is gang-raped and the news come out. That girl may tell herself or others that wasnt like that cause having that "raped" stain is too much of a social burden or something.
The same but opposite case happens but the girl decides to report it as a rape, cause she thinks society will demolish her for liking ganbangs.
Im sure there are way more cases of the last case, and its more likely to happen, but different people have different mindsets. If the writer delivers I would believe anything.
Anything is better than "she just goes with it cause she is stupid and lacks agency"

That is the beauty of this game is there r so many routes u can take and the option of not picking a route u don’t like. I for one love the blackmail route and can’t wait to see where it goes.

Is it your first time meeting Aoife or are you looking for her? If it's the first time she should be standing outside after the phonecall, if you're searching for Aoife you have to keep revisiting the shop / ask Calvin in the shop and she will eventually appear x
Thank you for this, having a similar issue, but instead after seeing her outside, I have not seen her again, and I can't speak to calvin as there is someone standing in front of him in the shop (looks like Aoife's model but can't interact with them or go through them to speak to Calvin), also the teacher is not showing up.

Mac users!!! here is a fix to run the app if you have issues starting and get an error that the game can't be opened.

Once downloaded and extracted the game replace Versions and MacOS folders with the one's from "Lisa Mac Files". Then run the app.

In my opinion PaleGrass did well to do the strong scenes of the Pub and Paul because in the real world these things can happen.
Lisa is a game open to many fetishes and the people who play it have many different opinions.
Lisa cheating, Lisa shared, Lisa being a slut and Lisa being subdued or drugged.
A lot of people if you don't like the Pub scene don't play it, if you don't like Paul's blackmail don't play it, because a lot of people like these fetishes... Lisa subdued or drugged or raped and the game is good for that because you can do whatever you want with her.
Thank you PaleGrass for thinking and creating this game.

Accept to be raped? As a general rule, that's not how rape works. Rape is when someone is taken against their will, meaning whether they accept it or not.

Bear in mind the following:

First of all, just because she's fooled around with Moddy and Byron doesn't mean that she could reasonably expect them to commit assault on her behalf. Do they want to go to prison for her? Probably not, and she has no reason to trust them with the knowledge that she's being blackmailed. Maybe they seem like nice guys, but does she really trust them enough to tell them that someone out there has dirt on her which she needs to keep hidden?

So no, I don't believe that Lisa would ask them. And if she did, I don't believe that they would say yes.

Also, while Moddy could probably mess them up, Byron would just get his ass kicked. Byron isn't some tough guy. He's just a reasonably fit regular guy working at a coffee shop and trying to get with hot chicks. We don't have any reason to suppose that he could handle three against one.

If Lisa were going to ask someone she knows to "take care of" Paul, Conner, and Mark, the most likely choice, in my opinion, would be Theo. But I don't think that she would trust him enough, either. For now, Lisa is pretty much on her own against those three guys.

I think most of adult games in here have the same problem regarding blackmailing. The trigger situation is very absurd, and place the FMC as a naïve and dumb enough to be humiliated/raped by any kind of men without any agency or willpower to find a solution, other that to "endure" the situation hoping that it will end someday. As in this case, it's more absurd because of the supposed age of the blackmailers, specially if you take in account that Lisa is more and more comfortable with her sexuality.
I agree that the premise for Lisa accepting Paul's blackmail is too weak, as it is currently written. Hopefully, PaleGrass will do a little reworking there, to explain to us why Lisa would prefer being blackmailed to being exposed. I wouldn't be surprised if he does.

As for the age of the blackmailers, what the hell does that have to do with anything? These aren't little kids who are blackmailing Lisa. The blackmail route isn't shota content. The guys are all at least 18 years old, and Lisa is 21. That's really not that much of an age difference. They're about to start college, and she's about to finish college. They're only three or so years apart.

Age doesn't matter at all. Blackmail doesn't hinge on superior force, it hinges on the power of the secret which must be protected and the value of what could be lost if the secret were revealed. The thing which gives a blackmailer power over their victim isn't how physically impressive or how old the blackmailer is. It's whether or not the victim is truly afraid of being exposed, and whether or not the victim truly believes that the blackmailer will go through with exposing them.

And if age or physical stature did matter, any one of those three boys could overpower Lisa on their own. And she would certainly have almost no chance against the three of them together.

And this talk about Lisa becoming more comfortable with her sexuality doesn't make sense to me, either. What does that have to do with whether or not she's willing to have her secrets exposed? Just because she's more comfortable and more adventurous with her sexuality, why would that mean that she no longer cares about her relationships with other people, or what other people think of her, or how she might harm people she cares about? Just because she's had a threesome and a foursome and discovered that she enjoys anal sex, that doesn't mean that she wants her boyfriend to hate her and her friends to feel betrayed by her. I don't see any connection at all between increasing comfort with one's sexuality and immunity to being blackmailed.

I agree that this game's story is a lot more realistic and believable than the whole "Hey, pizza delivery guy, I don't have any money. Can I pay for the pizza some other way?" bad porn plot. And I agree that this is one of the excellent things about the game. And I agree that Paul's blackmail plotline needs to have a more realistic premise, or at least, Lisa's motives need to be explained better. I'm guessing that PaleGrass is already aware of this. If so, I'm sure that he'll fix it, in time. He's probably just been more focused on moving the story along, for now.

Yeah, I think i remember your comment and i agreed but I don't think that Paul path was weak per se. For me it's this last scene that makes the structure crumbles.
This perspective seems really weird to me. As stated above, it's the beginning of Paul's blackmail route which is weak. We need a better reason to believe that Lisa would submit to the blackmail. This last scene is the strongest and most believable scene in the route, so far.

I think that to make it work PG should have work on evolving Paul's character more and better. Now he's only a 2d character who's a little bastard and his motivations are weak ("i'm a 15yo guy and I wanna get laid, duh!"). We don't know why he hates Lisa so much, he got no fear to be caught by Sharon doing what he's doing whatsoever.
I agree that we need to have a better understanding of Paul's character and motivation. Maybe that's something which PaleGrass will reveal as the game goes on.

For the time being, I'm thinking that Paul is a narcissistic sociopath who had a crush on Lisa, but knows that she doesn't like him. He wants her badly, and he's mad at her for "rejecting" him, and he's suddenly stumbled upon something which gives him power over her, so he's going to use it.

Sure, he could be just a little psychopath doing his thing, but as we said that's a solution that's weak for PG standards, creating another "unrealistic porn narrative" that, as someone mentioned before, is very common in every other game.
I very strongly disagree with this statement. I agree with you that Paul's motivations should be made clear (or at least clearer than they currently are), though that could be something which will be done in the future. But to suggest that Paul simply being psychotic would be bad writing, or that it would be "unrealistic porn narrative" is ridiculous.

Psychopaths and sociopaths really exist in this world. And they really do bad things to people for reasons which no one other than the psychopath or sociopath can understand. Seemingly random attacks frequently occur in the world around us, and this is something which has been used as a plot device in movies and novels and TV shows for decades. And it's not only the "bad" or "poor quality" or "lazily written" books and movies which include such plot devices. It's also the classics and the well written which rely on this sad fact of human existence.

There is nothing lazy or unrealistic about an author including a psychopathic or sociopathic character in their story. And, if such a character does appear in the story, then the most realistic and believable behavior is the behavior we see in such people in the real world, which often seems strangely motivated or even random to sane and normal people.

If your thinking on this topic were correct, then psychopaths and sociopaths simply can't be used as characters in "realistic" stories.

2.62 is an Alpha and is mainly for Patreons.
The 2.70 is a Beta of this version and we will all have it at the same time as previous versions.
Then there will be 2.80, also an Alpha for Patreons.
And 2.90 will be the Beta of that version for all.
Finally, Ep 3 will start with version 3.00 Alpha for Patreons and 3.10 Beta for all.
At least that's how it seems to me to be going lately.
