JoiPlay JP version 1.1.5 FULL
From now on, I'll post update every sat/sun with whatever APK version available in this thread.
Seems simpler that way and I got a certain online open world anime game to catch.
That's... that's a big mod, if it can go through. Just want to ask things, is it legal? What are Inusuku or any Japanese developers have to say about a modding on that scale, changing the characters even though they're the lead/heroine? Sorry, I'm kinda oblivious about game dev, modding, and its lawsWhile doing the coding for my mod, I have found an easy solution to modding in the side characters into the interactive night scenes that will take minimal coding (though a lot of drawing). All that would be needed is someone who could make a version of each image in the 'hscene' folder for each guild member (i.e. a Kana version of the missionary position, doggy position, etc). If anyone is interested in tackling said project for redrawing those images (or getting someone else to), let me know, and I'll be able to code it right in.
Technically at the moment, any and all mods of any kind (even cheat engine and other save editors) are illegal in Japan for all games/software. This includes games like Monster Hunter and Skyrim. However, it is only the act of doing so/using them while in Japan that is illegal, so while outside of Japan my country's laws would apply, and as long as I don't take money for it/don't distribute the entire game, I'm completely in the clear.That's... that's a big mod, if it can go through. Wait, huh? Mods? Since when? What happened?Technically at the moment, any and all mods of any kind (even cheat engine and other save editors) are illegal in Japan for all games/software.
Sorry, I don't have that because I didn't really think about it because when the double text appeared I immediately found the solution, and that happened about 2 times when I played for 2 hours straight, maybe it's just my cellphone that has a little problem rendering things, especially text, and yes I forgot to take a screenshot because I stopped playing after 2 hours straight and waited for the full translation update.I have some things (like the initial menu in the home for example) untranslated because for some reason if i translate that things the game have new bugs jajaja
About the lag in the game is coming from HBOX (i think), we can ask to the person who bought the game in "HBOX" and asking if the original game run better than my apk.
The game i think need 4 or 6 gb of ram for run "fine", can you take a screenshot for this "double text "? to be honest i don't remember see that bug in the translation

Here's a link about it:Wait, huh? Mods? Since when? What happened?
weekendsHow do you make the sleep minigame persist past 1am? That's not enough time to do anything.
I remember that shit, still think it's a weird law but not exactly untypical, very Nintendo of Japan in a way lol. Here's a link about it:You must be registered to see the links
But essentially, yeah, back around 2019, Japan decided the wording around what constituted a mod that was for 'cheating' or 'distributing copyrighted data' was too vague, and just banned it all outright. There is a bit of grey area, and there are plenty of developers that don't stop modding despite knowing the communities, but technically...illegal. The wording in the law is also vague enough that some save editors even decided to withdraw their products just in case.
True. I could totally see some bigwig thinking their creation is perfection, and that any outside force touching their art would 'destroy' it. But I'm sure this isn't something Inusuku would think or sue over, since I've kept the right limits and all that. I just thought it very interesing, and very Japanese, to make a blanket ban to avoid case by case decisions. The fact that developers will not only keep uncensored art, but willingly send it overseas to be published proves that many of them don't care too much for Japan's bans.I remember that shit, still think it's a weird law but not exactly untypical, very Nintendo of Japan in a way lol.
Knowing Japanese lads, I'll tell you most don't care, I still play modded Skyrim with my friend from Osaka all the time (the co-op mod of course) who also misses around a lot with his own OP mods.. The law is directed more so to publishing the mods rather than usage, I'm sure many Japanese lads use your wonderful mod too... Though rather, logically it's probably just another tool for big Japanese companies to sue someone to the ground if they even think about modifying a single game file of theirs.
Most likely, Inusuku doesn't even know about the existence of the color mod.If inusuku thought modding was that bad they'd have called out the colored mod when they got the question that made them respond about an official coloring of their games.
Someone once told Inusuku that he was working on translating the game into Chinese in one of the progress posts and he responded by telling them that if he did this without approval, he would take appropriate legal action. If inusuku thought modding was that bad they'd have called out the colored mod when they got the question that made them respond about an official coloring of their games.
Sadly, he's not the only one with this attitude. I've seen other JP devs, authors and even other modders (looking at you, Custom Maid community!) being territorial about their work, especially when foreigners are involved. It's definitely cultural.Someone once told Inusuku that he was working on translating the game into Chinese in one of the progress posts and he responded by telling them that if he did this without approval, he would take appropriate legal action.
So.... I don't think Inusuku is in favor of the mods, which I find a little sad because he doesn't know what a passionate community he created with his great game.
But hey, it is something to respect since it is a very personal decision.
