Yup .. Quite a conundrum ... Dev made a hap hazard scene to hook players ... but the player hooked hoped on a different much more important scene to be there .... Just a kerfuffle if you ask me!

Yeah, that happens on TV.
It's not the mirror it's just the example image. Direction is correct, it's just from the investigator's point of view, not the lying person.
