Seeing this gave me flashbacks to the times where you would only have the LOK versions with only like an hour of content spread over the forums and random porn game websites. Also the offshoots like Furry Fury.

Well, to abelius and the current team of the new lok, since they are now divided.

The question is how will new content be included that does not require already created animations. Kuja created very nice designs here. You only have to look at the one on the cover to realize the quality this project had.

This was "the game" , only reason I created the f95 account in hte first place, it was fun to come in the forum and see kuja and others talk about the project, it was fun until they scraped it and decided to make the other one...
I hope you continue on this one, this is awesome!

You did get permission to use these assets, right? If not, this game might be abandoned faster than previous iterations. And, no, just because the game is abandoned does not mean you have permission to use its assets.

Kinda moot since Krystal is owned by nintendo anyway. They can't really get litigious with this without putting their own project at risk.

This is my first "game" if you want to call it that. Basically, I liked the original art and wanted to try something with it. Someone on the original Rebirth thread posted a link to the game assets so I exported the animations and threw them into Ren'Py with a short corruption story to wrap it. I wanted more animations initially but the filesize got over 1GB pretty quickly so I scaled it back.

I'm just doing this for fun. I didn't put too much effort into this in general so don't take it as a serious competitor to other games or anything. Plus I basically just stole the art. If Abelius or Kuja ask me to stop, I would.

I will check in and try to answer questions occansionally. Any major critiques or big ideas for improvement to the game will get a "Hmm" from me and probably nothing else.

There is enough games in this series to make a Legend of LoK game. Can't wait to see what becomes of it.
