Well, there was content, what happens is that much was achieved by repeating the daily tasks in which you started with foreplay and ended with sex, but then there were scattered several things that were achieved by talking to other characters or interacting in other ways... Not everyone managed to crack Krystal's suit almost to the max.

The new version is only graphic, it still doesn't compare to the old one since it had more updates, a more elaborate map, more animations and mainly sex. The same development time.
This new vecion is very poor to be that they would have knowledge of what worked in the previous one and what didn't.

You're definitely not wrong. They're only like 2 decent sex animations for Krystal in the old version, and it took ages to even get to that content. Abelius didn't learn anything from the pot pulling debacle either since Pizza Hot is a dull grind with no content as well.
lmao I almost made more HS2 animated scenes in two weeks while also working 6 hrs a day than these guys have made for their porn game
what a fucking joke

6 hours a day for 2 weeks is ALOT of time if it's not your fulltime job I don't know how self sustaining this project is.

but it saddens me that we can't get a fantastic LoK game as the series seems so cursed.

one day my grandchildren might show a fully released copy but alas...

The problem is not that the series is cursed, the problem is that any shitty alpha is a pretext to open a patreon and sweeten people to support it, except in this case, where the Patreon was already open and the only pretext is to create "something that resembles" the previous game to take advantage of its incomes.

to make sure everything is clear, I meant that I work a 6 hour job that is different from animation, so I animate 3d in my spare time, outside of those 6h

Just a Bunch of Pies and Anchovies

Happy Monday Everyone! It’s been a little while since we’ve chatted. So let's jump in and get rollin!

We released Patch 0.1.4.1. The Fixes included.
  • Fixed leaving and returning to the briefing room, after playing the dialogue scene, will cause it to play again
  • Fixed some doorways that don't allow people to enter them after opening
  • Fixed characters misaligned in the briefing room scene
  • Fixed issues with user's tutorials not progressing after the shower scene
  • Fixed water particles not coming from the shower head in the shower scene

On the Topic of Fixes, let's take a moment to talk about Vanlen’s Tanning Scenes. For the last 8 months those scenes have remained, at worst, missing and, at best, misaligned. Ricco invested the time listing out these issues. Although we won’t be able to fix everything by the October Release. We hope to give you a more representative look of our vision for the game.

During the last post, Kuja had completed the Hangar Background. Now we are pleased to say he has completed the Armory Background, which you can see above. This has allowed Anthony to assemble the backgrounds in game.

Armory.png

These 2 backgrounds were the biggest tasks on Kuja’s plate and we’re on pace to meet our October Deadline. Now Kuja can progress to drawing characters. As such, you’ll begin to see more Picarto streams at .

We’re excited to, finally, get to talk about someone who's been working hard, behind the scenes, for a long time now. Silke has been chipping away at fleshing out the dialogue for the Absolution, more specifically Maeve. He’s been irreplaceable in helping alleviate the burden off Vlad’s shoulders.

Razorclaw_Tavern_Job_Events.png

With the dialogue bases covered. Vlad has had the time to outline the waitressing quest line. See the graph above and you can read the outline for the minigame below. Let us know what you think. Things are still WIP, so expect some changes.

Waitress Minigame

The minigame will be split into two phases with gradually increasing difficulty.

Phase 1 - The tutorial and initial game mechanics presented to the player.
  • Physically taking the correct order to the table in the appropriate time frame. This will include one of 4 food types, and a specific drink.
  • Kay will move to the center table with all the food for food orders, and select which type of food to place onto her serving tray.
  • Initially the tavern will be mostly empty, with the tutorial being one or two lizards seated.
  • Lizards will show whether they are ordering, satisfied, or upset via barks such as:
"Hey, I want food!"
"Why is it taking so long!?"
"Finally. Delicious."
  • Speaking to them will allow you to get their exact order, which must be remembered. The order could be a combination of food and/or drink.
  • The difficulty increases simply by adding more patrons to the tavern thus increasing the workload and time difficulty.
  • The amount of respect gained is directly proportional to the effectiveness of service Kay renders. If patrons are unhappy from waiting too long, wrong orders, or missed orders then she will receive less respect.

Phase 2 - After a few days Nesi will remark that she needs help with the bar as well. Kay will then have to mix drinks in addition to her previous duties.
  • Mixing drinks is accomplished by a 2D minigame screen where she has to use a set of three barrels filled with multi-colored liquid to produce the appropriate mix. The colors of drink will also be in shapes to help colorblind.
  • A Patron may order "Aufrik Ale" or up to 26 other possibilities (3*3*3) which Kay must recall the recipe and mix properly, then deliver the order like any other in a timely fashion.

Please bring forward your comments and concerns. We look forward to showing you more soon. Thank you for the Support. Until next time. Peace and Stay Strong.

Some things:
1. I think this is going to be really grindy, and at the same time, wanted to be sure that I was mistaken about this. Often, grindy "porn" game turns me off -- having the good balance between grind and content would be nice to know. Not overly grindy but doesn't drags out for too long.

2. How many "minigames" do you guys have planned or planning to implement that has same formula as this?

3. If possible, can we access your writer's portofolio somewhere on the net? Still not sure with the writing part of the game. I hope it don't end up like Saint's Row Reboot-level of cringe.

Getting to know your writer's portfolio, at least for me, can give me a rough estimate or guess how the story unfolds and all that. You know, online works that have been published or something like that.

Yes. More please :]
First of all, thanks for the like -- although I'm not sure that it is customary to do so.

Second, I was expecting a brief answer or at least some sort of reliable info, in all honesty. I'd like to discuss this further since the three things I've mentioned could be one of your bottlenecks, particularly the writing side since I've heard little to nothing about it until recently.

Thanks for the answer and your time.

It took a while before I got word back. And then I went to sleep. Sorry

To the first point. I honestly don’t know how many mini games will be in the village. I do know we’ve started very early talks on what a dancing minigame would look like. So it’s at least 3 and likely more.

The intent for the village is that you’re not obligated to complete any particular task. Each task grants you “Respect” and when you reach the amount of “Respect” needed to leave the village, you can. So if you assume the village is in a complete state. You should be able to pick what you want to do to reach the goal of “leaving the village” and not be forced completing “mandatory” tasks.

And yes, Writing has been a bottleneck for a long time. The return to the Absolution to start the game has highlighted these issues. We’ve been working on correcting it these past few weeks. It should have been started sooner. But it simply wasn’t how it played out.

**Edit: I’ll be back on in 5ish hours to talk about it**

I've been curious about this for awhile. I don't think Vlad ever mentioned what his previous writing experience was. His day job is a mover and that's about all I know about him.

If the writing is the bottleneck, then can we see any works done by Vlad and the new person? I'd like to read their works first, if possible. Any links or profile page that I could follow up?

You know, further reading or something like that

Thanks.

I don’t have anything like that to give you. IIRC (which someone could happily correct me) Vlad was responsible for the Vanlen and nighttime kissing scenes from .8.

But, I’m curious to know what your theory is? What’s been on your mind?

It's fairly simple:
I want to familiarize myself with their writing. No big brain needed, just some pleasure reading, and then I'll stop nagging about the fate of the writing part of the game. What's wrong with me or anyone else wanting to read their works? I don't think Update 0.1.4.1 will apply to me or anyone here since most are not The Tribe Devs patrons/subscribers, so the other way around is to read whether your writers have any published works under their belt.

Alas, you said that it'd be impossible to give me anything like that so I'll stop this little nag I've had.
