I waited a year to see anything change, but really, it's still the same thing. After I read the changelog, I lost the desire to download it. Like, I know it's an porn game, but couldn't you just stop focusing on the scenes for a while and start focusing on the combat and story?

this game has been in development for like 7 years already, and this is wht thousands of dollars a month for over half a decade buys you.
warning to anyone who has yet to see this game and is considering becoming a patron. dont. you will never get your moneys worth. this game is pretty much empty and devoid of content, and thats after years of development. these devs will never actually finish this game, they will take your money and then vanish.

as far as I know, this is sort of a trademark for LOK games, isn't it? There was one, an ancient one that seen the end, but other than that all share the same fate.

The concept was interesting about a decade ago. But, they have almost entirely stopped progress on the game from where it was then.

Oh hey it's that guy that told me 5/6 years ago I didn't know what I was talking about when I told him they were being too ambitious with dynamic costumes, combat, sex scenes, remade 3D assets, a custom launcher, and resetting all their progress again. I remember their dev team coming up with wonderful new excuses like Kuja(I think) taking a trip to the Philipines to meet his online girlfriend only to be fucking CUCKED by what must've been a catfish taking a mental toll only to later on become MGTOW. Sick nasty, bro!
The man also said he had experience from working for EA..... and I have to actually back down on that one.
He definitely had experience working at EA. Just look at the fruits of his labour.
Edit: Clarifying, the dude in the screenshot not the person I quoted, although I do question their sanity nonetheless as they had to put out dosh for this.

Sunk cost babyyyy! People think if they keep "investing" which in Patreon really means "throwing money down a hole and hoping gold floats to the top" it'll automatically get better.* The best part is even if it did come out it would never in a million years meet the expectations it has set up for itself. Games like this, A Town Uncovered, and Camp Pinewood pull people out of the mystique of crowdfunding and ruin the chances of people who actually give a shit and want to finish something. Every year new people run into this though and they start funding it even as older people leave finally realising their mistake. Same as youtube with new kids every summer reviving the careers of known criminals or worse. Somehow they've managed to stay afloat with 1000+ subs. The curse of LoK lives on.
*- I've seen a lot of successful Patreon projects, many of which I've bought the full releases for or supported throughout but this one is nonsense and it's very clear nonsense no matter how many times they scrub their history. All of those successful projects though, they had full roadmaps, goals per build, professional (if not in experience then in attitude at least) people with an actual work ethic, etc.
