Can you guys give details on how to properly install this in joiplay? i've played this game before and enjoyed it but now I forgot how to install it because there's so many things to do if I remember correctly like applying patches and English language/patch

Introducing my first and last LonaRPG Upgrade Kit!

LonaRPG Upgrade Kit: - Requires LonaRPG B.0.9.0.5 [file "LonaRPG-0.9.0.5_offvk.zip"]

Install instructions:
  1. Extract the kit somewhere.
  2. Read the install.txt file for install order.
  3. Before moving onto install.txt's step 2, make sure you have run the patch_0909.cmd script to actually apply the first patch. The script will delete itself after it does its job (Removes old and redundant files from the game before using robocopy [should be included with Windows itself] to move the patch_0909 files into the right place)
IMPORTANT:
All archives are to be extracted to the game root folder (where Game.exe is) in the specified order.​
Failure to do so will result in a broken game due to older files overwriting newer files.​

Do NOT use the English patch until it gets updated, use the MTL tool instead.

Support the dev if you are able.

P.S: Patch releases are a great way of sharing updates. This kit is small enough to use the attachment system instead of using a third-party filehost.

EDIT: This will get an update soon. It will perform the upgrades far better (using a slightly modified version of the Patcher from Anadius ) i just need to figure out how to use it properly. - Not happening, the patcher gets way too many false positives for me to deal with (the update was ready to go too). Even though I know it is completely safe to use, I can't deal with any potential drama caused by those false positives.
I've decided to cancel the planned update to my Upgrade Kit (check the EDIT: note for details)
If there is enough interest regardless of the issues keeping the update from happening I might share it anyway (with some caveats)

completely crashes the game randomly

edit; it's probably me using the nun mod along with the big boobs mod + big belly mod.
i mean, it clearly said in big bold letters 'NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ___' yet i did not listen. anyways the crashes stopped happening after i disabled them and restarted.

Game version? Because that error looks more related to the change in 0.9.0.19 (which has no changelog entry, but adds that "stealth" method call to the update_skill_eff function in Data/Scripts/Frames/25_Game_Actor.rb)

I meant insert as Code, that way any text that can be converted to an emoji won't get converted.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce this.

Things to check:
  • Is the extractor using the correct encoding? WinRAR has a dedicated setting, most others don't and have to be started in the right language (in the case of from a terminal [Command Prompt, PowerShell, etc...]; started with the right codepage active)
  • Is the game installed to a folder that has restrictive permissions.
  • Is the Japanese language pack installed and working properly? (Because Japanese-based game engine)

Because it doesn't use it.

There was a mod in the past to make it use DirectX, but that mod is has been dead for a while.

A while ago I came across a forum thread for another game that discussed how to do just that. Your first best guess for Google search is to lookup “startup command for game to use vgpu not cpu”.
Sorry if that’s not enough but recalling more is impossible for me. I’m just a normal human.

anyone know how to directly edit my movespeed? cause i ended up getting it a bit too high and i dunno how to actually change it through the console or saveediting.

mess around with the first '3' in ("move_speed",3,3) for different base movespeed values. (preferably 4.5 is the best)

also you have to unequip and reequip items that change your speed values for your speedvalue in your statwindow to update
