There's some other orkind lairs much farther away from Noer than just the ones you've mentioned, so that's probably a factor.

The bigger issue though is that Noer is dealing with a Refugee Crisis on top of all the other shit, so the moment you step foot outside of the city walls, it's a crapshoot whether any location has seen any real oversight by the guards/military/etc. anytime recently. And most of of the military is occupied either repelling deep ones or the infested lands up north where Sybaris was, so ultimately, the sovereignty of Noer is pretty illusory right now.

You sure there are other Orkind lairs further away? You sure they are not just occupied by them? Like I mentioned previously, about the Woodson farm, once you kill them, later on it's occupied by Orkinds. Not exactly a lair.

Crisis? I kind of disagree, the traffickers, criminals and that rich guy Milo seem to be thriving from the influx of refugees. Besides the arena, the marketplace at night, the sewers etc. There doesn't seem to be that many of them within the city, compared to the outside where there are a fuck ton of refugee camps stationed.

(Crisis or not, I've made my Lona into an embodiment of population control! ^_^ So Noer can sleep easy knowing there is a smol, brutal, neurotic, bi-polar, virgin, killing machine! xD )

I've only noticed the Doom Fortress having issues with abominations, but even then it's just the outpost to the east having constant trouble with them. But they appear to have a heavily trained garrison, so they manage, especially with their artillery pieces.
Milo boasted about how he is financing the troops of Noer. Clearly he is not financing them enough, cause even though within the city walls it's safe from Deep Ones and Orkinds, it still has a major criminal problem. Hell, I wanted to play the hero, so I went out and killed that stereotypical looking Jewish loanshark aswell as the other gang members with him, didn't change much... Yes, I killed the Jew and took his copper coins...

I'm not from 4chan, just so you know.

In conclusion, Noer needs more military spending, plain and simple. It would put those refugees to good use besides slavery. If I was in Milo's position, I'd cut some trade deal with the Fish people. Employ those criminal traffickers as proxies to sell women to the fish people for money, that SHOULD cover the portion of the military expenses. Then when everything is stable in Noer...

Conquer Fishtopia Isle and set up a puppet state. Simple! EU4 and CK2 taught me well! ^_^

Thanks for your help everyone but it still doesn't work ! i'm spamming with the cheat menu but i can't remove a simple "head injury : 1"
I'm lost lost now...Cheat mod don't work and the console too...

Seems like the f9 menu "heal wounds" option doesnt work, but direct heal wounds in like f5? f6?, dont remember, one of those, works just fine, just that one wound at time tho, also, sometimes ur pc dont count the fx button unless u press something else at the same time, in my case is "fn"

He already knows the unofficial, non-cheaty way of curing injuries which seems to be the only method that works for him.

My updates:

• I expanded the summons menu to use folders based on the first prefix
• Added the Items wont disappear change (suggested by someone in this thread)
• Added the no friendly fire change (suggested by someone in this thread)
• Added F5 to toggle autoheal which keeps you at max health
• Fixed the annoying basegame popups that happen upon entering/exiting the debug menu (might be incompatible with versions other than 0.5.2.0)

I'll add to it as I find things that I personally want in the game, but feel free to suggest stuff or build upon it

Do go ahead and off him as well, zero financing is better than not financing enough I suppose ? Corruption is bad enough as it is but to aim for anarchism when the whole island is in a state of crisis is just pure folly. Find another method.

Since the game is filled with memes (some that are out-dated currently, but it's alright.), I assumed Milo from the game is a parody of RL Milo Yiannopoulos. I made that distinction due to the blonde hair, smug-ish attitude and flashy attire. I could be wrong though...

What I'm getting at is, perhaps there is a character parodying Bernie Sanders that asks me for my financial support? Perhaps that will solve Noer's issues: Socialism! xD

Joking aside, all I'm saying is that if Milo can afford to build himself a giant palace seperate from the proletariat, filled with golden statues and other furniture(?) with gold, I'm pretty certain he can finance the troops A BIT more, don't you think? Or hell, if he doesn't want to increase his military spending too much, why not invest or create social programs that stimulate Noer's economy?

I'm pretty sure he, like the rest of those that thrive in Noer's crisis, don't want it to be resolved. The only reason he is financing the troops, is because otherwise it will fuck up his buisness interests. Which is smart, yes, but that's the thing, he is merely perpetuating and prolonging the issue, not solving it. That means more refugees and the poor will keep volunteering themselves to being slaves in his firm or in his palace. More people will be desperate enough to seek out help from gangs and that loanshark.

Even though I never implied anyone should kill Milo, he pays well afterall, not to mention the quests he commisions in taverns. I only killed the loanshark, but now that you've indulged and egged me on, I'm feeling very.... Socialisty! ^_^

Hoi! the new fix for the fishisle black screen bug seems to be text based and doesnt work with the english patch, but works fine in chinese non english patched version, just to inform you. And take your time I mean you basically work for eccma for free and otherwise we couldnt probably even play the game.

I mean, you have to ask whether or not he's actually contributing positively towards the crisis or not. He lies to you pretty regularly when you talk to him (especially if you're going the route of selling out Cecily to him) and it would be incredibly easy for him to *claim* he's financing the military if all he's really doing is financing the parts that specifically protect/support his ventures.

To say he's "better than nothing" requires you to take his claims at face value. Which isn't to say there's no evidence in his favor: the best evidence to support him is the fact that when Cecily rescues those slaves they don't seem especially grateful, but that's really more down to the fact that Cecily clearly has no plan to actually replace the abusive systems that they've been trapped within. Like, if she's as rich as a noblewoman has to be, she could have said "hey, here's twenty copper coins for each of you, and here's directions to a district in Noer where housing is cheap and you could stay", but instead, she just expects them to be grateful that they're "free", in a world where Milo is probably just going to reenslave them as soon as they get scooped up off the streets.

But just to be clear, the fact that Cecily sucks as a "liberator" doesn't make Milo good.

I did kill Milo in my current save, and big surprise: nothing changes, lol.
Yes, I'm sure that's more to do with the game being in beta, or else that the programmer hasn't thought of how the world should change as a result of doing that, but I digress...

What do you mean doesn't work? What happens? What is the error message? There are a lot of *fish*.txt files. Which one? Where does it happen? I need screenshots/error logs/or at least a description.

My text files has only bugged the game one time (to my knowledge). And that I discovered myself and reuploaded the fixed version before someone got affeceted by it. Or at least before anyone said anything about it (it was one hour window I think).

Edit: I just visited fishtopia isle. I went to every map/area and talked to almost all fish people. Not a single mishap. Everything seems alright. I was at both shrines/temples, the breeding camp, inside every house everywhere. Nothing out of the ordinary. I built the raft and went home and ended up at the wetland camp as usual.

Are you sure you're using the right version? I can't think of anything else that might be wrong. Unless you use some cheat stuff that somehow breaks the game. I am out of ideas and time and need to head out now again.
