I started a new game, and was told by the guy in the cloak to look around, now I'm just stuck in this first room, I don't know what to do here

What I have learned from this thread.

  1. Even if a person has received literacy education, it does not mean that he or she has the ability to read and understand the writing of others.
  2. Even if a person has received literacy education, it does not mean that he or she has the ability to write sentences that others can understand.

Why did the developer eccma, and others who wanted to help translate LonaRPG in the past stop coming to this thread?

I think the reason is that they are now busy developing a bot that replies to resolved bug reports with "please DL the latest version" or re-translating the tutorial so that even a kindergartener can understand it.:sneaky:

I did kill Milo in my current save, and big surprise: nothing changes, lol.
Yes, I'm sure that's more to do with the game being in beta, or else that the programmer hasn't thought of how the world should change as a result of doing that, but I digress...
Well then, if nothing changes, then (for now) he is one lucky bourgeois that Milo. One day... One day... Enjoy your rare caviar and your Greek vintage wine, while you still can, Milo!

Thank you for letting me know! ^_^

Hey, if you went the "Eat the rich" route. Did you raid the bank yet? I kind of want there to be an alternative to bank deposits, like you can choose your desired spot on the map (Let's say the mountains or the forest) and if you can remember, it will be like your secret stash deposit. "Under the mattress" type thing.

One benefit I see to this idea, is when your morality is so low, people attack you on sight. Making the trip to the bank impossible I would assume.

Socialisty!
Yeah yeah, Venus by friday, eat the richs, nothing new I haven't heard from young uns these days. Ffs I deal and live within a socialism country for 30 years of my life, you might enjoy it more than me, "comrade".
Like, if she's as rich as a noblewoman has to be, she could have said "hey, here's twenty copper coins for each of you, and here's directions to a district in Noer where housing is cheap and you could stay"
You can feed one or two people, but you cannot feed everyone, they're gonna be dependent on you, give them a job ! Which is what Milo is doing, ironically.
But just to be clear, the fact that Cecily sucks as a "liberator" doesn't make Milo good.
Democracy it is then, the riff-raff loves the guys and his bread crumbs. Leave them to their fate.

I'm from a post-soviet country, which was authoritarian, not socialist. But I will follow the OP's rule and NOT discuss politics. So like whatevs, love. ^_^

But I do like how you're trying to justify Milo's casual approach to slavery. Being forced to work for peanuts under a noble that stuffs his face with lavish food, surrounded by gold statues, I dunno... I wouldn't call it a job, just my humble opinion.

"Leave them to their fate."

"Someone please think of the children"
This is what I'm dealing with apparently. Well, one simple life advice, we're all slaves to something, and more often than not that "something" is not forced upon us but is simply a choice we make along the way.
I play the game to protect Lona's smile, not the riff-raff and their banter. If you wanna play hero in a game, it's fine. IRL however, there's always consequence of playing with fire.

eccma's first priority should not be to create new events for LonaRPG or to fix crash bugs.

First and foremost, eccma should fix the bugs in the LonaRPG player's brain.

Or they should figure out how to install the AI of LonaRPG's NPCs into the players' brains (Goblin AI, for example, would be a good idea).
That way, all players will be able to complete the tutorial, and they won't be posting incomprehensible bug reports in threads.:giggle:

Dude... Are you new to dem internets? :/

No one was talking about real life, man, jeez! I simply made a joke about the nobility in the game by implying we should overthrow the bourgeois, since I find Milo's justification for slavery immoral personally. Hence why I also mentioned the Bernie Sanders meme.

"Well, one simple life advice" "riff-raff" "there's always consequence of playing with fire."

Can you be any more of a boomer? Is that even possible at this point in your case?

You have to equip the "Juicing" skill that you get from the Succubus trait. When you approach an opponent, you press the button, and while holding it, you have 1 second to press an arrow key to indicate with which orifice (mouth/anus/vag) to "juice" them with (or it'll randomly choose one if you aren't fast enough). Once you begin juicing them, it's basically a sex scene, where you need to press a/s/d based on which orifice is being used, but where any sexual pleasure the opponent receives also damages them for the same amount, and if your stats are good enough, they'll die pretty quickly.

IMO it's a pretty weak mechanic, mainly because it's not useful in normal combat encounters: enemies tend to strike quickly enough that it'll interrupt the attempt to juice them, which means you need to balance it with decent stealthiness, which means less damage/sex stats... You get the idea. Upside is that you don't need expensive weapons to make it work, but none of the good weapons in the game are prohibitively expensive to begin with.

Also, it's completely useless against non-humanoid enemies. Not that the other combat methods don't have their own issues (magic needs to be swapped on-the-fly to deal with resistances/weaknesses, weapons require very good attack stats and stealth so you don't aggro the whole zone) but the succubus method seems better tuned to a meme playthrough, IMO.
