This is second time I have tried to play this one.

I played all the dark soul's games and enjoyed them, became frustrated from time to time for sure, but was very satisfied when I managed to complete them.

This game is just to nonsensical for me, I really tried to grasp the playing aspect.

1. stuff like entering the guild lodge and everyone attacking me. ( I did not steal or try to cheat anyone, and the whole town is trying to kill me.)

Battles are just overwhelm and beat down, not much strategy as best I can tell. (which I am use to from dark soul's with trial and error to understand the levels, and mobs.)
Did you enter the bar naked or with low Morality?
When I tried the game for the first time a year or so ago, I felt disjointed too, until I released that "combat" is somewhat different, you actually don't want to fight, at least the usual way in games, Lona won't survive being ganked, so one thing that gave me new clarity on the game was when I got the stealth skill.
Stealth + traps strats worked great for me.Also getting a companion helps too;

really dumb question but
1) how do you juice a wolf?

2) where is the bandit camp the wolf drags you around by the knot?
Use juice skill on the right type of wolf. They're bigger and look much more like wolves than the roundish fuzzballs that are normal wolves. They only spawn in packs from wolf events to my knowledge and to get the skill off you basically need to use the skill from stealth or against a stunned wolf

North of the church north of Noer and on the west coast. Coordinates are 26,69. The event is one of the daily tasks you can end up with.

So, a couple of things I'd like to ask;

1) Where do I look, in the game's files, to change what kind of sex the enemies/NPCs will do when they grab you? I'm a degenerate Oral Lover, so I'd like to see some Facefucking action occur without having to initiate it myself(which counts as attacking, much to my chagrin).

2) I've downloaded the latest version, but when I try to open the game, I get this error, and then the game closes;

1635222041155.png

I've tried deleting and re-unzipping the game, to no avail. If it's any help/indication, I had downloaded from MEGA; would any of the other Links work no problem?

What newcomers rarely realize is there's very little benefit to actually killing anyone, the game encourages to avoid combat as much as possible while it encourages you to get help in the form of powerful permanent companions or cheap for-hires. People are so used to being able to just kill everything in any game that the idea never crosses your mind.

I got a good laugh out of that.. Good one.. I enjoyed that :ROFLMAO:

I just walk into a place and get jammed into a corner, and every one in the place attacking me, and I have not stolen or cheated anyone in the game, have very much tried to keep a low, low profile.

Then I do a mission, get told to return to town, and get there and "Conditions not met yet", the game is a total train wreck, and just does not give you any real information as to what to do, where to go, and how to do it.

The notes are useless, I had to just spam save my way through the game. Probably 500 save, and re-save (LOL) just to get a simple everyone died but me because I got on the boat.. LOL ( Just not a very pleasurable experience for me, with really no feeling of joy or accomplishment in anything I did )

I am sure if you read everything you can find on the game, and follow someones walk-through meticulously, and do not deviate at all from the path you will be okay.

I mean I managed to get one ending, and two achievements, but It was total insanity all the way.

I truly tried to like it, I really did.

You might have a high weakness stat depending on your statuses, traits, and equipment. That's the other thing that gets you assaulted by randoms. Also while the game is indeed kinda ass about giving you information for quests, the general UI and markers have gotten better for official stuff and Lona usually comments when you got things done. What quest was it that you got told you do incorrectly?

How though? There are giant green exclamation points over quest objectives/quest givers. The mission descriptions are plain and easy to understand. Companions constantly scream the coordinates if you need to escort them....I really don't understand what's so difficult.....I'm playing on normal though, did you pick a harder difficulty that doesn't explain anything or something?

Direct combat should be avoided at all cost, traps and backstabs/bows are the only way to go, use disposable companions as meatshields/distractions. It takes a little getting used to, but it's not that hard, nothing compared to New Londo in Dark Souls....

The I think was a woman in the building I am at wanted to observe some mob's.

We did then she wanted me to catch the cute one according to her, and I did.

the game said now we need to return to town. I just went back to another save, and avoided everything I could and sold junk mostly, while spam Saving constantly. Laborious and really boring, but I wanted to get and ending.

EDIT>>>> By the way selling stuff was a pain cause half the time I walk in to sell stuff, and everyone there would attack for no reason. Spam save, quit a few times and return,

In this game, getting surrounded is a death sentence. They will stunlock you to dead.

Just try to run and leave or have companions to take aggro. Lona base run move speed is higher than anything in game as long as you don't struck you will be fine.

If you wanna kill stuff try to do it 1 by 1, but as others already stated there is little to no benefit from killing stuff. The XP are negligible you better use your energy to masturbate gaining more XP( WTF logic by Dev?).

Then I do a mission, get told to return to town, and get there and "Conditions not met yet", the game is a total train wreck, and just does not give you any real information as to what to do, where to go, and how to do it.

I have never encountered condition not met yet which quest are you talking about? you prolly miss something.

Dev want game to be hard. If you like getting surprised, do not read guide and YOLO! Stack blue pots, ready to run and ready to reload. If you want an easier experience read guide link in the first post.

I was like you before feel like lona cannot fight anything but after a few runs I start to be able to gauge what can she do. She is not a super hero. She is not destined to save the world. She is prolly weaker than every NPC when you start. You need to hire companion to do early game quest and progress from there. Merc with 2 beers melee & range are my go-to starting buddies.

Try to enter any town block and talk to doctor to give back the baby.

IIRC too high WEAK stats causes people to attack you. If WEAK is not the cultprit then its your morality being too low.
I think am done with it now.. I do appreciate your help though. It just is not a game for me.

I may try again after a few updates if they happen.

Don't overdramatize Eccma just because readme, lol... About the difficulty though, you really need to know what you're doing, a bit unfair to newcomers, but it's not unseen, Darkest Dungeon and Fallout definitely stand close to this game. Lona is voracious, she NEEDS to CONSUME, so you have to hoard as many food as you can first thing. You also cannot possibly think of beating bandits and monster hordes on your own head on, once you're outnumbered it's just over. Game tries its best to tell you "come on, take the companions, or you know, you're gonna die". Also probably tells you to be stealthy, Lona is small and weak, that's the most obvious choice to just sneak around and avoid everything.

The main quest is simple enough too. You visit all the close "!" locations, captain will say that he can let you escape this place for 20 gold, and that's about it. Do whatever you can and have fun on your way to survive and get the money, i doubt you can really get lost here once you realize you're free to roam around, do unique quests and get special events, all for the sake of doing whatever you want or earning them 20 gold coins.

Also, being "timid" is a suicide. There's not as much difficulty as just straight death traps, so savescum and check it out, Fallout 2 style, where you can just meet an impossibly difficult group and die. I'm a big Fallout 2 fan, so i'm not as unused to this kind of ass in my game, but i'll admit Lona is much, much more difficult to survive and play. Oh and also, Lona being a hentai game is deceiving, because it's hardly it, you should try to avoid being raped or being a prostitute too, to conserve all the energy, because recovering from that will take some real efforts and will deal considerable damage to your little resources.

But once you have started, you'll level up easily and have everything you need. I, for example, chose to be "tough" Lona this time. Robbed the forest of all the tomatoes and other stuff, leveled up enough to be bloodlusted and take elite weapons. Now i can FINALLY fight, parrying enemies with shield precisely, dealing normal damage, it's not as hard as it was. Mood improves with "masochism", making her always happy, and soon i'll get to level 40, where every kill, together with bloodlust perk, will recover my stamina and food, which will make me able to beat everything..!

In short, now that i've spent 7 hours - it's not thaaaat hard, somewhat fair game, but you'll need to be ready and determined just as with Darkest Dungeon or Fallout, as i already said, and get game over while learning the necessary information. Which is not expected of players that are here just for hentai, but i'm just always ready for battle in my hentai games...
Unfair? Unplayable. i got three meals, which are consuned rather fast. i can not get past the rats. no clue where to go. The only thing remains is bleed out, which takes a long time. If this is intended by the dev, then this must be some unknown niche game. Palying half an hour no progress nothing found to eat and rats are like boss battles you can not win or run from. I seriously wonder how players did progress. about a year ago i tried this game and you started with nothing. now you get a club and three meals which change nothing. art looks great. Game is no gameplay. unfair to newcomers? well i give up. i have better things to do with my time. Probably a good game. Probably the worsed game experience ever.

I was able to transfer achievements quite easily. You just copy the game.ini folder from your progressed game folder to the new one.
Tks a lot. I did some backread and searching, it appears that i just need to ignore the outdated version warning ?

it's not "mechanically" hard but you need to gather informations to play.

The easiest way to play the game is to either make a stealth build or a hunting build. Both Gameplay allow you to easily get money.

If you take the time to understand the tutorial they added to the game before you start in the sewer you shouldn't have any issue with the rats. You have a lantern to put them on fire and when it's done you spam attack. It's important to always avoid being sandwitched by enemies. Don't let anyone hit you from behind 'cause it increase a lot the chance he stuns you.

For everything else you either read guides or you make mistakes until you understand how things are working.

If you want to be a melee warrior you'll need to level up a lot to have enough strengh and constitution. I don't recommend this to a new player 'cause it will ask you to have a lot of experience with the game.

Yes of course. a game to be researched before playing. I played a bit along and reached the goblins after beeing raped to death i get the message " Press Z to admit your failure" This game is designed to be played by masochists. The dev missed to communicate that up front. Great game for the ones that want to be mentally abused. I am guessing the developer gets his feed out of desperate posts of players. Even when the art is good and the game is playable after numerous failure. The biggest faillure here is the dev himself. He FAILED to tell his intent. In my opinon this makes him a sociopath. GL with playing and thanks for clarifying the developers intent.

"Cold... Grim... Unforgiving... Deadly... This is the world of LonaRPG.
Play the story of a young woman named Lona, who must survive in this gothic and cruel world.
Explore a grimdark, twisted, and open world where one little mistake can cost Lona her life... "
I dunno man, I feel like the opening description is pretty fucking spot on as to what to expect. Maybe the failure to understand comes from you instead?
