I would try Depraved Awakening, Wicked Choices, Forgotten Paradise. If you want something with a female protagonist try Good Girl Gone Bad. That has multiple paths in it. I have pretty much gone out of my way to avoid the games classed as popular games.

it really depends on what you like. admittedly a lot of games on this site are incest and/or dubcon, but there are other that involve love rather than force. the best way to find stuff is tag searches. if this game isnt too your taste, its not a problem because it helped you learn what you DONT like in a game... as for a recommendation one my personal favorites (besides this one) is called Man of The House. the incest is optional so that can be avoided and all of the interactions revolve around love rather than force. a fair warning though is that the older sister/roommate is a bitch early on until it is revealed that she is secretly a masochist who likes being yelled at. and the mother/landlady gets fake advice from mc but she does have a real attraction to him..... I can't figure out how to save Primrose. I did the investigation inside the library, found nothing at her place, nothing in samara's tent. No one else seems to know anything, I didn't find anything behind the library like I've seen mentioned and for invade mind, I'm missing the last "big" secret (a motive).

You'll be hard pressed to find games without incest on this site, but I can recommend 2 games with none and excellent gameplayer, they are also very popular so you might have played them already. Sengoku rance and God Catching Alchemy Meister

Sanguine Rose, Acting Lessons, & Melody all have no incest content. Sanguine Rose is a shorter VN with CYOA elements, whereas Acting Lessons & Melody are more straightforward VNs. I'd also recommend Female Agent but since it's in early stages without too much content (since it's supposed to be a simulation game rather than a VN).
Edit; Looks like you're looking for choices - I think Sanguine Rose would be your favorite since the (unfinished) story takes different turns depending on your choices. Acting Lessons has a more controlled stories but if you enjoy the premise, you have some agency to choose how you act.

You could try "Quest Failed"- he isn't treated like crap, per se- but he also never really gets ahead or gets to assert himself (it's a cute little game).

@Belle ok, i recently downloaded this game (v0.9) and so far it has been an exciting adventure, but sadly, i have found a bug on Day 10, i searched through this forum for an answer but after looking through the 50th page, i gave up and decided to just ask....
so, Day 10, i have followed the walkthrough exactly as it says and on Day 10, after leaving Callie's Tailor Store, i go to the 'Town Hall' then the 'Upper Training Ground' then the 'Lower training Grounds' as specified in the walkthrough, the next step is to "Talk to Samarra", this option is not showing up nor did it transition into the Afternoon like it normally does, it says in the top left corner that it is the Afternoon but Samarra is not there....it has literally stopped me dead in my tracks....
help??, or point me to the page that fixes this bug, if it is a bug to begin with....

An outdated walkthrough is not a bug. You'll notice that the walkthrough's version number doesn't match the game's current version. There's nothing I can do except recommend that you play the game without a walkthrough. It's not that hard and there's little you risk missing at this point.

congratulations on reaching the side stories goal, I was doubtful if it would be reached when the fey court one was, but it was relatively easily after some months
Thanks! However, unlike with previous goals, I'm going to wait to consider this one truly reached until the pledged amount is stable at that level after pledges are collected at the start of the month. We might be at $3500 right now, but in two days we are likely to be at $3300, at least for a few days.

(I kinda miss Samarra's old speech pattern- it made her seem more foreign and exotic (especially after learning more about her in this update).

So.. I know I'm "that guy" but I guess consoling your stats up doesn't work? Because I still get the "Don't have enough courage" or whatever stat each time I try.
You're talking about the tutorial. Stats currently have no effect there. Beyond that, cheating to improve your stats is silly in this game. The process of increasing your stats is where you'll see a lot of the game's scenes. Most adult games force you to grind to increase your stats so you can get the reward at the end. I reward you every step of the way.
In short, cheating in this game will make you see far fewer scenes and is likely to mess up the game logic. You have nothing to gain and lots to lose.
