I played this game very early on into the development but there was no animation. I can see the tag but how is the animation as I might revisit it?

By the way, this game always had animation. It's just that the earliest ones had 2-3 frames of animation. I've later found that the sweet spot between development time and animation quality is about 5 frames, which is what later scenes hover around.

The game isn't finished. The Princess won't arrive for several more updates, and there is no NG+ until the endings are in place.
