There was always background support for it, but up until the point where NG+ was added, there was no way to have vaginal sex with her after removing the Contraception spell. Because of that, I didn't update her epilogue with pregnancy until the first NG+ update, if I recall correctly.
So yes, it's new (kinda).

It is doubtful that any man in history has ever decided not to creampie a woman, because he was afraid she might die, in a world where sexually transmitted diseases had not yet been discovered.
Back in the dark ages, it was bad air that caused disease.

I’m not advocating for anything; I just saw a point being made (“getting Sister Agnes pregnant will ruin her life”), and felt like pointing out that it wasn’t a 100% inevitable conclusion. This especially stuck out to me since it was being compared with how getting Callie or any of the other girls pregnant—possibly without consent, I’d like to remind you, which is rape—supposedly wasn’t an issue, when it absolutely is, regardless of the outcome in the game. (It also reminded me of some discussions which were held in this thread, about what Dickon could or couldn’t do, because it would make him too evil or whatnot, but the truth of the matter is that Dickon already has the potential to be a fucking disgusting human being in the game as it is.)
Anyway, I’m discussing these things because I like this game, and the Middle Ages, not because I’m pushing for anything to be in included the game.
