Yeah. I was going to mention, why wait for a princess when you can tap not one but two fairy queens? And a librarian? And your sister? And your erstwhile lesbian best friend?
Contrary to what you were just told above, there is actually a sex scene with the princess in the game right now. It doesn't feature the MC, but it's still a sex scene, and it's one of the longest, most elaborate (and hottest, IMO) such scenes in the entire game.

People tend to forget scenes if the MC doesn't participate in them. Try asking people if there is a Sister Agnes scene or not.
For me it is not so much about the lack of MC or dick in said scene. Up to a certain point the princess has always been kind of an obscure, ultimate goal, an afterthought even, but not a character per se. Not so long ago her most prominent feature was the main menu placeholder pic. The royal romp is quite enjoyable and meaningful. At least for the characters. Dev-Belle has done a great job conveying the conflicting emotions, further amplified by some really nice animations.
It's not. The story hasn't given you any particular reason to care about Princess Selena, and the MC isn't really on this quest for her sake. For all the talk about her, she is still mysterious and unknown, and that's on purpose. You're not supposed to feel a massive emotional connection to her, though perhaps you will by the end.
Can we expect more long and elaborate scenes with main character? Mc x Lilith and most scenes involving him look very puny and lame compared to Lilith x Selena scene. It's kind of disappointing really.
I mean... there isn't one, there's a Callie scene where sister agnes happens to be present, but she participates in it as much as the mc does (less actually, because the MC actually does know what is happening)
