the main reasons tawny changed the art style was because he lost his data. more of a make the best of a bad situation and try his hand at HS2.

That's subjective. HS2 is higher quality but it also makes imperfections look way more pronounced.
Koikatsu also has way better customizability. HS models always look very similar, you get better facial morphs with Koikatsu.
Having said that the biggest imperfection HS2 is displaying here is in molitar's character. I simply can't imagine attacking a dev like that over something so inconsequential. Especially since we all know for a fact that person isn't a patron or subscriber, the entitlement is just incredible.

It all depends on the skill of the developer. At 90% of games on the engine HS\HS2 and the truth is almost the same characters and locations (about DAZ I'm silent, the clone war), but there are very prominent game, which shows that the developer has invested his knowledge, skills and love to develop.
Koikatsu, on the other hand, is easier to customize, but it often looks more clumsy. For example, I can't remember a single game with decent animations and body physics.

Seriously, the decision to change the art style was discussed on this thread and in my mind I did not give the middle finger to the readers of this VN. If I'm mistaken then the folk that follow this thread will let me know.
