Others have reported the same issue. Not sure why compressing it causes the text box to go black. Try putting the file I've attached in your LongRoadHome0.5.1\game\gui file and let it over write. It should make the text box transparent.

you can choose not to join them. if you completely diswow them then might not have much to play.
I should feel honored that the only two posts you have made on the forum are to bust my balls about not getting updates out on your timeframe.
Please take the time to read the Developer's note on the OP. I don't have a team. I do the renders, animations, write the script, do the coding, proof read and de-bug the game. I don't think the time between updates is excessive given the amount of content I typically put in the updates.

Nice update. I have to say this is becoming a personal favorite. Witty writing, girls I've never seen anywhere else, and a different story. I know she isn't a favorite for some people, but I just love Jessy. She is easily in my top 5 characters from any game/VN. Definitely liking more Rachael content. She isn't the typical looking ginger you find on here. Very hot. Overall excellent work and I can't wait for the next update.
Thank you for the kind words and observations. I make an effort to use models that haven't been used a lot or tweak them where they don't look like they came straight from Daz. Jessy is a lovable brat and I really enjoy writing for her. She is a mashup of three different characters so I doubt you'd ever see her anywhere else. Rachael was the winner of the Patreons poll. I gave them a choice of six different Redheads. She has that "girl next door" quality, but also has an understated sexiness to her. I'm working on 0.6.0. I'm doing the part I probably dislike the most. Building the sets for the new locations...

A really good game with more than just the standard porn game story, even though it has plenty of sex in it.
The girls have diverse looks in regard to body types and sizes and the sex scenes are animated.
The only thing I would wish for is if we had a few more CGs per sex scene which are not animations.
I just feel the flow of those scenes is better if the pics tell a part of the story as well.

Another couple things I'll add real quick. I appreciate how the overall quality has steadily increased from the first chapter to now. Shows a desire to continue to improve from the author. Also as AD U.S. military, I appreciate the subtle, respect is the only word popping in my head at the moment, shown through the way the MC is written. Big reason why this will remain one of my most anticipated updates every time. Thank you.
I'm very glad you view the MC in a positive light. I have my father's flag display case on my wall in my office. I look at it everyday and think about the man he was and what he stood for. I would not want to portray MC in a way that would dishonor him or any other service personnel. Our family witnessed first hand the tremendous struggles that are faced by some returning back to "normal" life. I want to tell that aspect of MC's story realistically, but as respectfully as possible.

I'm very impressed with your story so far!! Been hooked since the first episode!! I love your storytelling and the way your MC is standing up to anyone for those he protect. He and Jessy have an amazing bond together and I can't wait to see what's next. If I may ask, Do you have any plans to released the game on steam someday? Keep up the good work man , doing this by yourself is really a big deal and it's nice to see such a dedication to a story. Thanks man for such a great game
Thank you for the words of encouragement. I haven't looked into what it takes to get the game on Steam. I guess I should. "House Party" showing up on Steam is what lead me to F95 and thus my addiction to porn games...
