I'm too big a perv to join them, but I admire them. They are self-sufficient, and they know the value of hard work.
They already live off the grid. If we ever suffer an EMP attack or catastrophic breakdown of our power grid, it will be just another day for them.
The folks that only know how to feed themselves by calling doordash or uber eats will be fucked.

(Also, Weird Al puts on a helluva show!) [Was working for the largest touring carnival in NA at the time. In Mobile we had to sleep in the semi trailers halfway up the walls on 2x4's cause the fire ants would eat us if we slept on the fair grounds and that is not even close to to the other shit I faced there, Carney bar in a blacks only neighborhood, with a bunch of white Canadians drinking that had no clue until gunfire started and we skittered away like cockroaches...
I have seen shit, & that wasn't the worst of it!
It holds no candle to my personal struggles...
