Actually now that I've finished the game I can confirm that she never mentions it again after that interaction.

No, I meant Joiplay. You need that, and the Ren'py files.

its not really complete. it was just labeled complete. there's a lot of missing context and the game tells you at parts, its still in development

Well, it is completed in that it has an ending, but it is very rushed (and some remaining hints for future content as mentioned), and it will probably not be continued due to the dev being heavily affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
1. Does choice matter? Like choosing faction in early invite, killing someone or not, raking someone or not. I tried to check a few but don't see any difference

Yeah, many of the choices do matter.
There are two main endings, with a number of other side factors involved, like who you choose as your queen, etc.
The ending is quite the letdown. I understand why cause of the devs own personal life. But gotta say it still. And there was no actual sex with Taina? That may be the weirdest part. The girl you meet first and get married to. She wasn't even a top 5 girl for me, but still pretty whack there was no sex with her
There is an anal scene when getting attacked in your palace, pretty weird to me that there wasn't a concubine interaction but it rushed suddenly to it at that time lol

Small hint: asking for recommendations in game threads is considered being against F95's rules, so you better go to the recommendation subforum with questions like this. (Personally I think, while many of Alex' games are quite good, they are mostly not really similar to this one.)

I don't mind the "rushed" ending so much, there are tons of games 'round here that are incomplete asf even after 5 years of development.
I really like the game and the setting, but if I have to point out something negative would be that after the ending you get faaar less sex options that if you don't complete the main quest at all, as you are unable to visit Vica and Barbara post-ending. And apparently missing out the "you can now invite X to bed" announcements too.
Oh and like someone mentioned it, Catherine and Taina don't have that many scenes despite being apparently the "main girls", at least compared to Isabel or Mia
