yea those softlock bugs are annoying, one fix i found was if u have the cheat mod skip one hour or go backwards when u get softlocked it fixes it.

I tried using he cheat to change the time to try again. It didn't work for me. If I change the time with the cheat mod, the options become no longer clickable, so I have to just close out anyway. Any other ideas on how to get around these softlocks? Thanks

Thanks for your suggestions, but it didn't work for me unfortunately. It seems to be permanently stuck at 100 for some reason. I ended up having to edit the save to get it to go down, pretty sure it's just a busted experience / bug

It went down, but there's no way to change Jesse from Alterna-Bitch to Alertna-Girl on this playthrough for me (I had maxed out on .08 I think)

Not doing a cheat playthrough myself, and run into the same issue with relationship being maxed (and can't adjust relationship with bans/disinterests). The only option that worked was getting her lust high enough and catching her in the act. -5 to relationship each time. It's a tough loop, but hopefully it's not bugged

It won't give you a pop up telling you the value changed, but every time you talk to Jesse at 23:00 in the park on Saturday and Sunday give -1 to assertiveness

Hi, I like the game but it's a bit difficult, I go to the bar and Gina isn't behind the counter, there should be a Lain's Walkthrough Mod for this game, that's 5 stars, there's no website that explains how to play from 0 to 100%.... and the Night City Productions Wikia website doesn't explain anything at all

I'm genuinely curious what posesses people to create games that need repeating ~20-50 of the same interactions to advance a character.

For a long time I've been hoping that some ambitious modder takes it upon themselves to make a faster progression mod. You can kind of use the cheat mod to do that, but I would rather not skip gameplay entirely. I just want to reduce the amount of repetition and grind needed to advance.

Unfortunately, I think it would be a little more complex than just bumping up EXP gain universally or whatever. If done well, anyway. It would need to be a rebalancing that goes through all the events, skills, and everything else to rebalance it all into a faster but still smooth progression. And every time a new stat is added for a new AT that also needs to be looked at and rebalanced.

Dude modding this game would be insane, the dev rips the whole thing apart from the inside out often, did the same thing with other titles as well.

The whole card system is a cool idea but it needs a lot of work. I still say problem #1 right now is you will reach a point mid game where hardly anything you do matters anymore. When you are maxxed at just about every skill, suddenly every grindy action feels like a big chore bc you are not unlocking your way to a new reward anymore. You will still have a million ATs left to pursue, but getting there is a boring slog because every day you are just doing stupid shit to pass the time, you are no longer thinking like hmmm do I watch TV and hope to get a certain topic I need, or play video games and get XP so I can unlock the streamer job, or or or.... nope it's just click sleep or whatever to pass a bunch of time until XX o clock when you can talk to so-and-so and nudge them a few more points closer to their next AT. The game loses A LOT of the fun once you start just running into a million topics you have no use for, and you constantly have to keep burning topics because your inventory is full, and again none of the actions you can take are really exciting anymore because little to no reward.

Also, there is a glaring difference in scene quality between characters / ATs and it's kind of annoying as fuck. Like Charlie, who is honestly not the most desirable or attractive LI, has this insanely detailed sex game where you can eat her out and it's so up close and high res you can like see dots of fluid glistening on her pussy, fully animated. Gina has a number of really well done scenes too, but again she is moderately attractive compared to other options like Becky, Tilley, etc. Then you get to Becky, who is 1000x more attractive, and every scene is just a few still shots. And Tilley does not seem to have shit for scenes and only 1 AT change. Lol what the fuck gives with that?

Oh and can we get a path where you don't have to fuck around with a tranny and see it's dick flopping around if you're not into that kind of thing? Is that really too much to ask lmao... Literally Becky has the most content and storyline BY A MILE, she is clearly the primary LI the game spends the most time on, maybe don't chain her to a really controversial character that plenty of players are not going to want to mess with... that part is right up there with "A struggle with Sin" forcing you to fuck every hot chick's fat old mom if you want to progress the attractive character's storyline.

Who looks better and deserves more attention is subjective (my personal list for this game seems to be a lot different than yours: Jesse -> Gina -> Diane -> Charlie -> Becky -> Tilley if I'm adding her for me. Personally I wouldn't care if there was no Becky / Tilley in the game). The dev lets supporters vote on which character gets attention and this is just how things have ended up so far I guess.

...that's 12 fucking ATs for Becky. Maybe even more since the last update, I haven't progressed to the end yet.

I think Gina has the next highest at around 10 ATs, but hers takes a lot less time to work through and is much easier and clearly intended to be an earlier pursuit. They also don't require having to go to the party as a constant gatekeeper so again, just much quicker to blow through her content.

One other thing - it cracks me up how in discussions like these, people will often say "well they had a VOTE on PATREON and the highest voted category was ----- so that is what got expanded in the game" - I get that and it's all well and technically true. But it paints a very skewed picture of what is actually popular. The people who are most likely to be paying the most money for porn games on Patreon are going to be heavily skewed towards really fringe unique niche content. Why? Because it's not readily available in a lot of other places.

Really, I find the whole incest focus of the game to be a big turn off, and I don't get why the dev warped the project into going so far down that rabbit hole (this was not originally how it was presented) but it is what it is. I take the same approach that I take with regular porn and just completely ignore that aspect and judge it on how hot they are and whether they are doing shit I like to watch. In Loser, it's not like the characters have "BROTHER" and "SISTER" tattooed on their foreheads, you can visually enjoy the scenes without being someone who gets turned on by incest.

You can't really mentally ignore a character with boobs and a cock flopping out from under a skirt, that is constantly sitting on your lap and trying to suck your dick and making moves on your LI, when it's right there in front of your face.

The dev really needs to just make a branching AT setup where you can take Becky down a path that has nothing to do with Jay.

The thing that got me to play this game in the first place was someone mentioning that you could have some interactions as a bisexual male, which is a very small niche in the erotic gaming sphere.

Coming to the one in a thousand games where that's an option and then bitching about it really seems like a pretty entitled position to take. You have other options. Feel free to take them.

Not to mention that on the skills screen there's an option to select your sexuality. I've never switched it from open, but I believe it should stop sexual content with Jay from loading, or something. So even in this very game there are more options than, you know, whining that it doesn't specifically cater to your specific tastes 100% of the time, rather than just 99.8%.

From my perspective there's not nearly enough bisexual content here. There's a very little with Jay, but even that has a lot of, "two guys double team a girl and never touch each other" energy, not to mention Jay having 'not really gay' outs for both Becky and Nathan.

I want some straight up guy on guy action eventually, with Jack by preference. If someone doesn't like it, they can turn it off, either in the skills menu, or the game entirely.

Current version is glitched so it freezes on a couple points
1. don't try dancing with cool sister Gina...it freezes
2. This is the big one: Diane's personality button in her room on the weekend freezes the game when clicked. You can adjust her personality back to health nut to explore the other path.

As for number 2 I'm attempting a few things with save editor to see if I can get back to her being a "health nut" without loading an ancient save and backtracking all the other women several hours each. Switching the specific personaliy to HealthNut didn't do it. So my next thought is copy and pasting her entire section of code in a previous save when she was a health nut so any flags reseting her to instagram mother are no longer there...hopefully that works.

I love the art and concept of this game, but it is the longest grind I have ever seen in a game. If I couldn't save edit to recover hours of grinding. I don't know if I could keep going after running into a bug like this. I know these games are WIP, just pointing it out so it can be addressed.

Keep going dev, your making one of the better games on this site that breaks the usual mold.

Just increasing every xp/relationship/preference point gain by 20 times would improve the game measurably. Even with the cheat mod i know I need to set aside a significant amount of time to enjoy this game.
I honestly enjoyed Superpowered a lot, even tho it was grindy too, never used cheats, and I think the difference to this is that there were less "stages" to get to where you needed to go to grind. Loser in comparison needs me to navigate more menus and wait for loading of all the variables, blackscreens, repeating animations, etc.
