I think I just got too used to download a WT mod when I install any game, so I just go for it instantly. I will try it without WT and see how it goes. Thanks.

Hi, just wanted to do a development update as usual.
As you may have guessed I started working on chapter 6 soon after the release of chapter 5.
The main plot points were established and I started working on the new environments or assets in general needed for the chapter. Here's a graph showing some of the progress so far:
About the release date, I will try to deliver the chapter on the two month mark on the 28th of next month but that may not be possible due to a major problem that has affected the project.

As you may know the game is also on the "You must be registered to see the links" platform, it was a big part of the game's revenue until now, they have decided to "ban" me from their payout system so I basically can't sell the game there anymore. This has happen to a lot of different adult games developers on the platform is not just me. It seems they are moving away from adult games or at least making a statement that their platform is no longer safe for adult creators as they can pick and choose what or who they allow to get paid. They also make you unable to get your last payout until 30 days after this sudden "ban" with no previous warning.
This has been a really hard hit on the project and to be honest it affected me as well.
My plan is to release the game on Steam with Chapter 6 so maybe the game can get sales revenue again. I will share more information about that when I get confirmation that the game is approved there. I may ask you to put the game on your wish-list over there to help with the process if you want

About animations. I will still try to support animations as long as I can but the itch thing was a hard hit for sure.
-2 animations for chapter 3 already done and ready to render.
-6 to 7 animations are planned for chapter 6.
I can't say for sure if I will be able to keep supporting this many animations per chapter, it really depends on the revenue. I hope you understand.

It's probably some new laws or they try to enforce some old laws. We all know that some games have suspicious content (incest, underage characters, rape... continue as you like). But banning such games from itch.io is huge. If they "fall", other could follow. I'm not sure how will developer continue. Steam? Not really a secure option. Subscribestar? For now. Patreon is on hunt too for some time. Already saw few "under investigation" pages. It's not imposible they come and have some "talk" with this site.

Steam has no problem with things like incest, but they will always ban things that take place in a school (they dont care if the characters are over 18) or consensually "ambiguous" things like sleeping sex. I think this game would have no problem being on steam tbh

I didn't say Steam is against it now. Nobody is aganst it. At first... They loose money. But they could be real fast. Every developer goes consciously frontal against law (I don't care, but law could do) with incest, rape etc. I said when itch.io bow down, why do you think the others will not. It's like torrents, they were decimated in last 10 years. I didn't report them, you probably haven't either, but they gone.
I know they all earn money from us/subscribers/commercials/developers, nobody will that, money is their first thought. But if law force them, they will give in quickly.
What do you think what will happen if they start to sniff around games on any porn site? After they were done it would look alike after armageddon. From now 10 000+ games here, how many could continue? And how many of them are good.
I do not call for it nor do I want that happens, none of us want, doesn't mean it will or it will not happen.
That's the truth, if anybody will facepalm me, i will ignore them. I only say what could happen, I'm not for it. If I don't like the tags in game, I will not play it, but I will not report it either.. As they say; don't kill the messinger...

Good post but I think torrents decreasing popularity is more related to availability of easy and cheap streaming platforms. Which was actually the argument since the Napster days...
Torrents were always illegal. With VPN's being fairly prevalent nowadays, they are now probably safer than ever.
While I do not argue about anything else, I strongly disagree with Torrents being illegal! Maybe for this purpose, but there are a LOT of Torrent files (and sites) that are completely legal. I just have to mention software development, Linux ISO images and programs. Hell - even 3D programs like Blender use Torrents as a way of distribution to cut some server costs.
So no - Torrents are far from illegal.

On top of that, saying torrent illegal is almost like saying downloading files is illegal. Torrent is just another method for download/upload, can even be considered a way of cloud storage. Downloading illegal stuff through torrent is illegal not the method.

Yeah, that's obvious. Torrenting is just the name of the technology, I get that.
Still, and without data to back it up, I think that in it's heydays the main purpose was to distribute pirated material.
For that purpose it has become much less popular, which had probably to do with some popular websites getting closed or blocked like rudy007 mentioned.

there needs to be like some russian based version for such sites cause .ru are a heck of a lot more free well at least in downloading/torrents afaik and less fucks given for stupid as fuck western shit and none russian stuff as a whole

Is this a solo dev thing or a team? In case it's the former, he/she is getting 8.4k USD a month with this project. How is it not enough?
Where do you get 8400? His patreon says about 1500 and SubscribeStar says 559.
