There is a single enemy and an unfinished level so far. Best to check in after a couple weeks/months maybe. Game looks super promising but it's very much in alpha atmArrows that are apparently meant to stand up often don't register(can't get up).Overall low fps. Also it's 1gb but whereever i go is a dead end so far
Likely to stay that way, the rate at which content is being added is extraordinarily low for something with pixelated animations and mostly standard Unity platforming mechanicsThere is a single enemy and an unfinished level so far. pretty sad i love side scrollers and to see one with potential just die out urghLikely to stay that way, the rate at which content is being added is extraordinarily low for something with pixelated animations and mostly standard Unity platforming mechanics

I appreciate the detailed reply, and I definitely don't mean to disrespect your work. Pixelated animations I could debate as being 'easier', in the sense that something like applying gradient shading across it is almost entirely irrelevant compared to high res work, but I absolutely don't mean to say that it's outright easy; these animations are smoother than all the low-resolution animations I've seen in other work and it's obvious that there's significantly more time dedicated to it.Heyo! I get where this sentiment is coming from and I may just want to clear some things up! We're still working on the game the best we can. We all still have things to do besides the project since we wouldn't be able to live from the project by itself. Not just that but there have been difficulties thanks to the current circumstances of the world as well and things like a broken monitor on one end. A lot of work is being done programming-wise as well with the resolution and volume settings being added along with the wolf girl. Dialogues are finished and preparations (and some work) for the following updates are already being made while we try to get the art done asap.
Also I wouldn't necessarily say that "pixelated animations" diminish any work that has to be put into them. It's merely an artstyle choice. There's still hours and hours an artist has to put into those since they are more detailed and fluid than most retro games.
So our speed is definitely going to pick up again, we just had a bit of a slow month, I'd say. It's definitely not going to die out but it's easy how one could think so looking at it from update frequency only. Also I don't mean any harm if anything I said came off that way, it's just difficult to convey in written form!
I think MGQ was shot into space because it had an unironically interesting plot and setting, with a great English translation and, in some cases, really fantastic art. There's a lot to dissect in MGQ's success, but I don't think it's niche at all considering how generic a lot of the porn was. I remember when I first played MGQ (and it was my first porn game!) I fapped to completion then kept playing because I wanted to see where things were going. Making a porn game function highly as a game as well as porn in an intertwined way is, in my opinion, the fundamental thing that got it to where it is. The setting is inherently lewd, so the gameplay never deviates far from lewd stuff, but the gameplay presents challenges and agency and investment. That's also why I think Tower of Trample has the popularity it does despite the delayfest; porn and game mechanics are both strong, and things all work smoothly enough that you can get immersed and not get frustrated about mechanical issues. Crazy interesting stuff to me lmaoDifference with this game is a friendly developer and has a proven good sprite artist. Dev here isn't some hard ass with moderately good coding ability, 3d art skill, or some chump H RPG Maker dev using default sprites and tilesets. I'm also not seeing an ego big enough to fill a stadium and a bad attitude.
The only issue is in my opinion, monster girl games are so niche, even more so the H ones. It will require a lot of publicity to bring in real cash when its done. Monster Girl Quest's popularity still amazes me how it go so popular, despite being so insanely niche.
I think "Domination Quest" could really kill it, once it gets more attention and solid development.
Not bad, I could see her flipping the MC over and riding him though. The artist did a livestream while creating animations for the wolf girl. Here's a screencap if you're interested in what's to come.

Wolf girl attack animation from today's stream. I don't want to get people's hopes up for nothing but I think her release is close. The devs replied to a comment on itch.io a few weeks ago stating that all they're waiting for is the Wolf girl's animations to be finished. I believe her h-scene, GO-scene and attack animation are all done, so there shouldn't be much left.
BTW if you're interested these streams happen on saturdays starting circa 16-17 PM CET atYou must be registered to see the links
