NOTHING in the game suggest that they are vampires. The vampire idea was nothing but a conclusion to what some around here came upon. And i say it openly that they are wrong. Just because someone mentioned something about blood, and some other said that a thousand years it would take to match the skills of Aiden.. proves absolutely nothing. This is exactly the case of trying to bend facts to support a stubborn theory.

I don't see how this would need them to be vampires as well, this alone explains everything. Thats exactly what i've mentioned at the very beginning when this idea surfaced. That technology can explain an unnatural life-spawn, glowing eyes, everything basically. They can have implants of any size, can have nano-level ones. Batterstar: Galactica anyone? Cylons? There are so many options here.
I just wanna see how it goes and what they turn out to be. Just not daywalking vampires please. Blade was more than enough...

I have seen this a couple of times mentioned now. Does the extended life span talk come from the parents looking too young? Because it might just be that they just look like that. Elise looks normal to me and while the father does indeed look like he is 20, might just be to accompany the child-like behaviour with the looks.

Then there was a hint in the hospital when the doc says he could practise for 1000 years and not be as good as Aiden
Then Caitlyn out and out states it in the pool

if he is going with the twilight take on it, vampires can't have sex either without killing the partner, unless they have extraordinary self control, which is the case in that story between the protagonists, but it's not in this one, not right now at least

they are clearly some sort of vampiric beast, they don't follow all the vampire tropes, but they follow enough of them to be classified as such
