Its exactly because you know that it hurts more.I have to say that the second round, even though I know what's coming, hurts more than the first one.
On a first gameplay everything is a surprise, your rationale is dulled, you get pulled by the story. The betrayal - pain. The justification/explanation - pain. The twist/conflicting info - pain. Its a series of small hits that start to compound.
On a replay, you know whats gonna happen, the damage its gonna cause and even how those two could be if Lacey didnt act so crazy. So instead you feel the combined pain of all at once.
