Hahaha, this is the part where I mention: I considered straight-up impregnating Samantha, having her expressly tell Flin that it's okay for him to do so, Greg would raise the baby and have no idea(!!), etc. And I might go back and retroactively do that.

...But I don't know what I'm going to do with Samantha yet. Current plan is for her not to show up again, but I left the phone number bit at the end intentionally open-ended in case I change my mind. One of few things where I'm particularly receptive to public opinion

Oh, and somebody should definitely write a mod that allows replacing all mentions of 'Flin' and its variations with some other name so the rest of us can play out our rock-star fantasies better. Might even look into that myself.

As for the name, well, knowing the protagonist's specific name and being able to play around with it (name screaming, nicknames, etc.) is important to me while writing story/dialogue.

I've given some thought to how I could prompt the user for a name and have it auto-generate all the variants I would plausibly wanna use, while giving you the option to customize each variant if the auto-generation comes out weird, leaving "Flin" as the default, but...
I'll try to figure that out next game. Not personally gonna fuck with it on this one.

Amy is just the best. She is the only one that would make sense for MC to break up with Stella for.

And yeah agree with above poster even if pregnancy never happens just hearing their thoughts on it is super fucking hot.

I really started pulling for Amy more while working on this update! Of the non-Stella heroines, she's gotten the least ero-content, and I'm seeking to gradually rectify that.

Feel like some of the scenes where Stella or boyfriend/husband calls mid sex were missed opportunities. Have them pick up the phone and keep at it (they did this in one scene where Julia was giving a handjob and it was sexy as fuuuu).

Ah yes, the "cheating sex while on the phone" trope. I'd like to make a similar teasing scene for both Amy and Kelly. Thought about doing that for this update, but decided to push it to another time. I'd also like Flin to return the favor.

I further considered having Kelly answer the phone when Eric called, and continuing the doggy-style bit with her talking to him, but...ehh. I don't generally love how that gets executed most the time ("Hahh, sorry, just exercising while talking to you, ohh fuck!!" ). I may do it another time, we'll see lol. I've got some ideas.

I know the cheating is out of love/lust not degradation but definitely keep up the "your so much hotter/better than your sister/daughter" type cheater talk its the best.

Thanks for saying this! I really like that stuff a lot, but admittedly felt a bit nervous getting more bold with that kind of dialogue.

It seems that the game is still reading my previous saves even though I've deleted the previous version's folder, does anyone know if the game keeps a backup of saves somewhere that I have to delete as well?

Like pretty much all RenPy games they are in C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\"Game Name"
The names in the "" differ by user and game.

The only thing to look out for is that Love, Lust... is for me in a folder Test-14393204. And not like most of the other games, in a folder with their name.
I found it after creating a new save, and looking for the last modified folder.

As the above user said, check the folder they mentioned.

Lol, when I first made the game, I named it "Test" because I didn't want to raise any suspicions to my friends about the kinds of visual novels I was working on
But apparently that folder carried over somehow. Bleh, oh well.
And then on my machine, inside the "Test" folder it's called "Highschool Rockstar" instead of LLRR, because that was the original name of the game. Dunno if that name somehow got out too.

Anyway, all that aside, you're telling me the game crashes when you so much as open it? Or when you go to start a new game? Deleting your save folder shouldn't be necessary, but let me know if that solves the problem.

i have zero knowledge of developing a VN, but i believe you when you say that

i remembered just now, in thirsty for my guest is one scene where the mc is squeezing a breast and that was so well made that i couldn´t take my eyes off of that scene
but i feel like, if you do something like grabbing/squeezing the human body, it´s either perfectly made or you just don´t add it

i hope you do some more of those scenes in the future

As of this most recent update, I don't thiiiiiink so. I updated to Ren'Py 8.0.3, which adds support for Python 3 but states that it doesn't support 32-bit systems.

But gosh, you think blurred genitalia's worse than not showing it at all, huh? I've seen this sentiment recently, and it's surprised me a little. This might sound strange, but me personally, I rather like the "white glow" censoring you'll see in Korean manhwa or Japanese manga.

Blowjobs, full naked shots, "showing penetration" like above, more freedom with camera angles...none of these things are SUPER important to me, but it'd be nice if now-and-then I didn't need to be super creative with the camera angles. I'd like to see the moment of anticipation where an erect dick is ready to enter a vagina (without having to actually see either).
And when censoring doesn't bother you (it doesn't bother me, nor does it bother the majority of Japanese audiences as I understand it (which is why there isn't a lot of pushback on their censorship laws)), then it's no big deal.

I never tested that, fucking god fucking dammit, fuuuuck. It crashes for me too.

Not only did I just fix the bug, but the bug fix I applied makes it so this update does NOT break saves immediately (you still wouldn't be able to view Samantha's event on old saves, but...)

Sorry guys, resetting ascension stats in 1.4.7 crashes the game because I'm a stupid dumbass piece of shit, so this fixes that.

- Fixed resetting ascension stats.
- Has the added benefit of not instantly crashing old saves anymore, except they'll still crash if they reach Samantha's update so whatever.

Your style works for me because it's not immediately obvious that you're trying to avoid showing genitalia. The "white glow" censorship is better than the mosaic you see in most japanese games but i still don't like it. Blowjob scenes are pointless to me if you're just going to censor the dick. A woman with a blurred dick in her mouth does not arouse me, it actually does the opposite.
