Finding someone is non-random. You will find someone every other opportunity until you exhaust the pool (Scottish gentleman with a lisp who grants +4). You gain just over +1 CHA per attempt on average overall assuming you stop at him.

And books run out.
We'll it is frustrating to keep the option there when the pool is exhausted.

Just started this game and quite liking it so far.

I have a question about combat: Sometimes when the board is full, either me or the enemy will launch a series of attacks. Why does this happen?
Don't allow your opponent to complete outside rows. This allows the current row plus outside filled rows to keep spawning more damage. Never let your opponent finish the board. I wasn't aware of this game mechanic and it caused me to lose fights. Discard in order to allow your opponent a free turn so you can finish the board and complete outside rows. Timing can be everything once the board starts getting filled.

To me the ability to discard when you have a viable play should be removed , makes things to easy ! Discard would then be automatic .

Oh shit... I never thought of that, I was busy trying to get lightening gems to trigger.
Just when someone thinks they have the perfect tactics there is always the 1% chance they come back to bite you . Legitimately cleared a board this evening , problem was this gave a Daemon Prince first go at the new board and as the cards fell on the new board he just blew me away with one play .

Its things like this that make me love this game .

If there are only two rows to play , look at your opponents cards , at this point there is always a chance he will not be able to use one of the rows , so play the other .

Fantastic game. I don't want to start gushing about all the good things, because then I'd end up with a wall-of-text since there is so much awesome in it. tl;dr: Excellent writing, superb characterization, great renders (though the animations do noticably suffer from low res), not to mention well-developed UI much less game mechanics. Personally, I was pretty impressed by the coding driving the "hint placement" during the combat minigame, but that's just my ye olde coder instincts waving from their grave.

Thank you very much for all the fun!

That said, running 0.5.14b I got a few glitches. The major one that made me drop the playthrough was the studio location not unlocking, despite receiving Molly's e-mail. For some reason (that I can't really pinpoint since I didn't realize the issue was there in the first place before reading up things on the wiki), not a single Chloe's "morning delivery" costume scene triggered, either.

If you'd like to take a look, I archived the save - please let me know which files to attach.

Either way, really appreciate being able to play this. Though the tribute to the lamentably late Sir Terry Pratchett gave me sads, but that's normal every time I realize such a treasure of humanity is no longer with us :(

Been playing this evening and got a long delay triggering Chloe . Until I went to the bathroom with an action left . Suspect that it does not trigger at night if you have already done something in the night period . Give it a try .

Perhaps I'm misreading something, but I am under the impression that there is at least one scene in the morning the next day after you order one (if not more) of Chloe's costumes that I never saw.

Edit: I stand corrected. I did misread, there are no "delivery" events and you do need to hit the shower to get Chloe's costume events - might be helpful to HAVE a quick morning event with Chloe that does some hand-holding for the player to know it without having to hit the wiki :)

I do wish there were clear indicators of timed side events. Not a fan of playing with walkthroughs, but events like the fairy in the shower (which, despite her explicit interest in it, you can't even turn into a cocksleeve against all tradition!) really could use a dialogue prompt, the way, for instance, Katie and Bella's comes with clear directions.

That's strange (and sad, given the work I put into making a new scene for that room). I'll see what is going on.

Chloe gets more content... of all the characters, the most central ones are Emily and Chloe.
Nice to hear, but you know you could add 30 sexscenes with each of the women and you would get very little complaints unless it would slow the progress of the story. :p (Which of course it would invariably :ROFLMAO: )

I'm only one person, and this is still a side-job (I work as a game programmer for a living). So, 30 more sex scenes with all of the girls would... somewhat impact the main story :)

Now, having said that; I started off fencing off my little porn game side-project from the where I worked. About 6 weeks ago one of the owners of the company approached me, and mentioned that (given CORVID's making a mess of our industry)... how would I feel about making porn. So I confessed to my side-project.

I'll show that game soon-ish; I'm programming it, reusing the LoM engine. Art/Design/Writing has an actual team this time :)

Here's a little trailer I made:

Scary, was what it was. Nearly ended up getting fired :) But going into porn, and pretending I didn't have a full user-tested engine ready to go was just stupid.
Good to hear it turned out well for you,but yeah guess it needed some fast talking all was done in your own spare time and not company time or assets.
