So I can't get the Art of War from Diana. I have Swordsmanship 8 but none of the dialogue gives it to me. I've double checked that I dont already have it and I'm pretty sure I don't since I dont have the option to read it at the coffee store.
Condition is Sword >= 11

This is the case in the latest version because NG+ starts you with 10 to all key stats (STR/INT/CHR/Sword)

Never got the date with Katie even though I did the MMA event and meeting with her and Bella.
Couldn't get the guy in the Library to trigger and offer to sell me the flawless fire gem for Katie.
No idea how to fix as Katie is only doing 30 dmg fire spells still.
Now on day 74.
Help please...
EDIT: Just found it as I never used the right dialogue with him to get the offer.
Figured he'd just sell one outright from his stock.

The fire gem option becomes available once Katie talks to you about gems and discovers yours are trash or stupendous, depending on whether it's playthrough #1 or NG+.

Talk to the quartermaster at the university and there is a specific dialogue option asking about fire gems. A further dialogue option specifies it is a gift. You may need to go to your bedroom and adjust your gems there first. That triggers a small scene where you talk to yourself. I usually forget about that until later in the game since I adjust the gems as soon as Katie points it out.

Getting Katie's fire damage up otherwise requires taking her and a second person to Elsewhere and talking to her while resting. First it is her and Dylan. Then it is her and Emily. The second is date-gated, I think. Both require the fire gem to be gifted first.

I've looked and haven't been able to find much of an answer, can someone point me to where I can find an ETA for the NewGame+ versions of Books 2 & 3?

I really enjoyed NG+ Book 1, and was crushed when I tried to continue in Book 2... I assumed it was compatible and only Book 1 had to be re-released as NG+. That's what I get for assuming.

Thanks

Book 2 NG+ has gotten started; on the Steam branch the first version is up and playable end-to-end (though without new content yet). ETA... not quite sure, it's very much a passion project, so... when I have spare cycles. Hopefully I'll have Book 2 done around the time I do Morningstar's final Act... probably a little later. Book 3 comes after that.

Grateful for the reply, and very much looking forward to the rest of the NG+ books.
This is the second AVN I've played that actually made me care about the story and characters. Like a good book with more sex.
Thanks for the game, your work is appreciated.

I lost access to being able to play this on my computer, so started with the android version instead but after starting book 2, I noticed it only goes to 0.25b or something and there is no android available for book 3. Is the android version still being worked on, or is that on hold now?

Nah, I spent the middle of book 2 fighting to keep Android viable; first by compressing assets, then by moving stuff onto a server I rented. At some point around the middle I gave up. The final Book 2 is 6GB+, android APKs can't be more than 2GB, which means all the extra data needed to be downloaded from a server somewhere. Book 3 is 10GB+

It seems impossible to get enough money for upgrades to the Dragon/Chosens' Home.
Working at Crowley is only 100max per evening so it would take 10 days to earn 1K.
That's without doing any other events evening/night.
And I'm still short by 1K, plus I have to spend money for outfits/etc.

Elsewhere doesn't earn enough either and that uses up morning slots.
No way to do quests and do upgrades.
And of course I picked building the Onsen Bath first in Book 1 not knowing there was an order to follow.
No warning ahead in any walk through unless you read way ahead.
By the time I get done with upgrades it will be Book 3.

Selling gems is just peanuts.
Frustrating...
Game really needs a money cheat.
(Playing the normal versions with game set to 'casual' mode)

Fun game but quite complicated.

Game has a money cheat if you want (Ctrl + J, find the Cash variable, set it to 10,000,000).

In general, the bulk of cash will be found on the Paths; you make more money slaughtering innocent-ish monsters than you do bartending.

(And no, there isn't "an order to follow" in terms of unlocking the Kings Dragon, despite the walkthrough having a preferred way. All content is available regardless of the first choice)

That's pretty weird. By the time I entered book 2, I had over 10K in cash just sitting there. I was able to afford all the pub upgrades without any breaks in timing.

Working the bar at night, gem sales, lots of herbs for Chloe (save until you have 10 of the standard for best cash reward), and straight cash rewards in Elsewhere combats was more than enough. Just make sure to go after the tougher critters in Elsewhere for the better rewards - Cambions and higher level demons. Take Bella so she can search treasure locations more effectively than you can and so you get her extra moves per Elsewhere run.

No this game does not need a money cheat if you do it right you can earn enough money on the paths.
But as Droid said there is a money cheat if you really have to use it.

Yep the paths makes a lot of money on.
After the first playthrough and having a lot of high lvl gems then selling off the dups I can get over 6 million from the sale.

Yep Bella is the best for searching and that 5 more times option give you more time on the paths for even more money.
My fav group is Emily, Molly and Bella, there is nothing you can't lose to with this group.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm no trying to move the save data from book 1 from my old computer to my laptop, but can't find the save data in the files. Do you know where I can locate it? Tried a search you posted previously but nothing appeared when I did :/

You need to kill things in Elsewhere and lot their dead bodies for gems and cash. Some beaties have more better stuff than others. Sell excess gems to the Quartermaster. I struggled on my first play thru, and perhaps needed to wait a week or 2, bbut built everything in the end.

Thanks for all the help you guys.
I spent too much time on the paths just doing Treasures and Shrines trying to collect ingredients for Chloe.
Was trying to get to 50 and get a lvl9 pure damage gem.
Eventually I just gave them away as she wouldn't offer to buy them anymore.
Didn't get enough saved early as I sold her quite a few before I started saving them up.

Just noticed after doing a few runs on the path and killing stuff I now have over 5K so I don't need to cheat quite yet.

Of course I couldn't do the paths in the evenings so the bar was only option for making money in those time slots.
Probably also spent too much time reading and leveling up skills.
Day 124: Lvl 29, STR 45, INT 42, CHR 43, Swords 27
(Don't know if it's good enough yet, lol)

Dude, keep at it. I get 100 str, 90 Int, 85 Chr, 30 sword and 10,000 plus gold bye the end of Book 1. Here's my personal day by day walkthrough. Maybe it will help.
