Damn, okay.. let's see what I can do there. I really need a permanent solution, rather than patching the leaks in the boat,
Could you get me a screenshot? Without the specific phrasing, Google will not be my friend in discovering what is going on.
Just started playing the newest version (windows) and noticed a couple of things. 1 small bug and 1 fairly large problem.
Small bug - When the New Location The Crowley pops up, it shows a white picture.
Fairly large problem - I can't seem to get any messages when I mouse over anything, messages like location names, or messages about what the icons on the right do

About the poker battles you start the battle with the well know phrase "cards please" or whatever lol and the first table has a square of 3x3 total 9 cards and you start the combinations 2 pairs e.t.c so you have the gems for each category and you can set them according the combinations so for example in 2 pairs you can have either lighting gem or Ice and every time you combine on the table 2 pairs it does the corresponding damage... but be aware with the long battles as the table square starts to fill the 5x5 combinations when you fill the last of a corner the damage multiply gathering damage from the row the column and the diagonal so it gets big amount of damage best is that you discard your cards and take new in order to be the one to fill the corners hmmm I hoped I have explained it understandable lol
The lightning gem is a cascade; I wanted to avoid 'stun locking' the opponent, so first stun is easy (3 lightning), but then each subsequent one gets more expensive (3, 7, 14, 21, 28, etc). I reset it at the beginning of a fight; I forgot that would have an impact outside fights.

The white message I've seen before.. should chase it down. The mouse over tooltip is a weird one; let me follow up on that.

yes same here over hovering the small icons for gym etc you don't see any info as before and same with the white picture
and when I was in the basement for the first travel to elsewhere there wasn't the bar bellow "talk with Katie or Dylan" as before
I think it's likely systemic. I did a full optimization pass on the UI last week (putting all the UIs into different canvases), it appears to have broken some stuff. Just finished the update and goddamn it was good. The story is really good. Droid Productions, I have a few questions and comments about story stuff. I'll put spoilers on them.

I didn't remember Katie even being there for that fight, I thought the MC was alone when he came to check out the sounds. Weird. And how did he afford to buy the gem at that point in the story. I had to grind until Act 3 to afford that plus all of the date stuff and the books I needed to read to not get my ass kicked in the Elsewhere fights. I'm guessing he used the cheat menu, that is one of the reasons I didn't. I wanted the pace of the scenes and the difficulty of the fights to feel natural.

JUst started the game. After meeting Chloe she suggests visiting the city, which i was not able to do. Next day everybody was talking about a minotaur and im like wtf. Got a date with the princess. Then saturday the event where we fight the minotaur triggered.
That's really weird.. you shouldn't be able to escape the tutorial funnel at that point. Can you recall what you did after the chat with Chloe on the first day? (the only real option should be to go up to your room and sleep, which then triggers the opening of the city).
Thats what I did. Sleep and the following day wento school and met the princess there.
Hmm.. after talking to Chloe, the only path should lead you up to the bedroom, where you sleep and wake up later in the evening. But... knowing something is possible is the first step to accomplishing it, let me see if I can reproduce it.
